FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally teach varying durations - 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons. My rates are as follows: $50 per 30 minutes | $45 per 30 minutes (online) $75 per 45 minutes | $65 per 45 minutes (online) $90 per 60 minutes | $80 per 60 minutes (online) If the students would like the lessons to be held in their homes, there will be additional transportation charges as follows: Queens = $10 per lesson Brooklyn = $15 per lesson Manhattan = $20 per lesson - Lessons are to be scheduled and paid for on a month to month basis. - The monthly fee will fluctuate depending on the number of study weeks, since all school/public holidays will be taken into consideration when scheduling.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically recommend a single paid trial lesson with my new customers. And we will communicate via phone call, zoom or text messages prior to our first lesson about the student's learning goals and musical needs. Should the student decide to continue, lessons will be scheduled accordingly and paid for on a month to month basis thereafter. The monthly fee will fluctuate depending on the number of study weeks, since all school/public holidays will be taken into consideration when scheduling.
