- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up on Long Island, New York I had been to multiple parties where the DJs were awful, just sitting in their booth and going through the motions. I decided that I knew that I could do a better job than they did. I started small, just DJing friends and family events, but eventually got into the business full time. Since then I have demonstrated a talent for reading crowds, and my vast musical knowledge lends itself to being a great, versatile entertainer.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most commonly we do 5 hour weddings (1hr cocktail + 4hr reception). But commonly we get Sweet 16s, proms and school dances, engagement parties, graduation parties, baptisms and communions, birthday parties. We have done and seen it all!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently we DJed an outdoor wedding on the lake, and it was one of the nicest events I have ever done. We ran sound for the service which was right on the dock, and then proceeded to moving the reception over right on the shore line. It was beautiful from start to finish, and everybody had a blast.
