Joe and Gretchen were incredibly flexible and accommodating when we had to make last minute changes due to weather, and they were able to capture unique and beautiful photos despite challenging conditions. Peel the Moon was an absolute pleasure to work with!

I consider myself lucky! Planning a wedding from another state definitely was not the easiest especially in these times.. But thanks to Thumbtack for finding me Peel the Moon. Joe was always responsive and was interested from the beginning in what special shots and made it a personal experience even though we did not meet until the actual day of our wedding. He was on time and text me as soon as he arrived. He was interactive but not overwhelming. He worked well with my family and they commented on how they enjoyed his energy. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We always like talking about the customer’s vision for the end product and how they would like to use their photos. But it is also important to be able to talk about and with the subjects so we make sure we are capturing them accurately and allow them to be comfortable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Gretchen: I have a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. I took photo classes in college but I am largely self taught. Joe went to school for graphic design and is a dedicated real-life learner.
