Mr. Cho graduated from NYU and Syracuse Law School, both on merit-based scholarships. He has extensive experience in both litigation and immigration from a small boutique firm to one of the world's largest immigration firms. Before finding Minwon, I visited a few more immigration attorneys but struggled with choosing the right attorney. Thankfully, I found Minwon on Thumbtack, and right away, my spouse and I started working with him. He walked us through the whole process and made it very simple and convenient for us to share our files. His office is very conveniently located too so when I needed to drop documents that were very helpful. When we received a request from the immigration office regarding one of the documents, I was concerned but Minwon reassured me that there was nothing to worry about and helped me with preparing the response to that. When my EAD got expired, he helped me get a new one very quickly so I could keep working and travelling while we waited for our interview. I think the most important thing Minwon did for us was to prepare us for our interview. Our interview went really well and even the officer thanked us for being so prepared. One week after the interview, I received my green card and although this concludes our case, I won't hesitate to work with him for my future needs. Overall, I'd like to thank Minwon for making this process as smooth as possible for us.

I cannot stress how satisfied I am with the decision of partnering with Mr. Cho in my immigration case. His knowledge and expertise made it possible to remove the conditions on my marriage-based permanent residency (I-751) after a divorce from a same-sex marriage. I am incredibly grateful that with his guidance I was able to remove the conditions of my residency without an interview, which is not always the case with petitions like mine, which involved a divorce.
Mr. Cho helped me navigate through the difficult process of gathering documentation and evidence to strengthen my case and prove that I entered my marriage in good faith. He also aided in the preparation of a thorough response to a request for evidence (RFE), which is stressful, and I know I would have not been able to complete by myself.
Mr. Cho is punctual and incredibly transparent from the beginning, explaining the sequence of the process step by step, always responsive to any questions or concerns I had about my case. In my situation, I approached Mr. Cho in the later part of my process when it became evident that I needed a top-notch and experienced Immigration Attorney to assist me. Even with an incredibly compressed timeline, he was able to help with everything I needed. Through my process, I unfortunately contracted COVID and Mr. Cho proved to be incredibly patient and helpful, continuing to work on my case as I was undisposed and checking on my wellbeing constantly.

Mr. Cho helped me through out the process of my application for my wife immigration visa.
Mr. Cho & office staff was very organized & knowledgeable about the process & what I liked alot about my experience that with each step he gave me check list of all the required documents & forms.

My case was very complex and required a lot of specific attention; I needed to remove the condition on my green card with a waiver. Before meeting Mr. Cho, I had already consulted three attorneys from some of New York City’s top firms. They all had made it seem as though my case was entirely dependent on luck, and that the result would be unpredictable. However, after spending time doing research, Mr. Cho explained to me that it was possible to personalize my case and emphasize its humanity, despite the fact that the case was largely an administrative matter. Mr. Cho was ultimately able to get my case approved without an interview, a feat extremely rare for my type of case. Additionally, despite the fact that my case was an extremely draining process, Mr. Cho was very reassuring and helpful; he has the incredible skill of calming you and making you feel safe while working with him.
