Working with Amy was by far the best decision we made for our wedding (besides getting married of course). She is the most incredible person to work with, she was highly responsive, punctual and incredibly helpful but the best part of working with her is that she is a fantastic human being. Amy is smart, sensitive, hardworking, kind and truly special. Thanks to her, our ceremony was a celebration of joy and love. She made the perfect suggestions and delivered the most beautiful ceremony we could have ever asked for. In our case, Amy became like a friend and a spiritual guide for us . If you are looking for an officiant who will work with you hand in hand and will be able to put your feelings for each other into words she is the perfect choice. Amy´s work is not just to be an officiant but to bound your lives in a ceremony full of love, peace and joy. She will be there for you every step of the way and will make sure you get exactly what you want and need. Our ceremony was both in english and spanish and having Amy perform it was the perfect choice. She created an atmosphere where every single member of our family felt touched and included. Her rhythm was perfect and every word she delivered was full of love and respect. If you hire Amy you will likely get a friend for life and the most beautiful ceremony you could ever think of. The day of the wedding she arrived earlier that expected and looked absolutely gorgeous. Amy will definitely be the best choice for a day you will remember for the rest of your life.Jul 21, 2019Verified
Rev. Amy Estevez was wonderful! When looking for someone to officiate our wedding, we were looking for someone who can officiate in both English and Spanish, and Amy was very accommodating of this request. If I had any questions or concerns I knew that I could message or call her anytime. Amy made the process of finding an officiant so easy and stress free. Not only was she extremely helpful and attentive to us she also made sure to make our ceremony very personal. Amy wrote a beautiful ceremony that was very personal to me and my husband. She added details about what brought us together, what we love about each other and more! We loved what she wrote and it is very special to us. We highly recommend Amy! Thank you so much Amy!Jun 1, 2019Verified
Linette officiated our wedding in early April 2017. When we first met with Linette, we felt very comfortable having her officiate because she is a very warm and friendly person. Throughout the process she was very responsive, albeit sometimes seemed a bit scattered (perhaps because of other duties?) She provided us with a draft of the ceremony script that we then decided to make more personal with our own chosen reading. She was on time for our ceremony, read beautifully, was very friendly and comfortable. She even shared a personal piece about our first meeting which was very nice. She was certainly a great fit for our warm and intimate wedding. And most importantly, we received our marriage certificate only a few days later!May 20, 2017Verified
I know this is late but we got married back in December of 2014 and am I glad I chose Linette to be with us on that special day. Communication with her was great and I had a lot of questions. We talked frequently as we got closer to the wedding date and she was always available to answer any question for me. The day of the wedding she met us on the Brooklyn Bridge because yes, that's where we got married, and she had her assistant with her. This was our first time meeting in person and you could never tell that, I felt as if we had been friends for so long. Everyone loved our ceremony and she was so pleasant to work with. I'm glad we chose her to officiate our wedding.Feb 20, 2015Verified
Minister Val was absolutely fantastic for my daughter's wedding. Linette and Val performed a beautiful ceremony, catered to the needs of both the bride and groom in a bilingual service that was extremely eloquentMay 18, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing system is not complicated or confusing. My fees are all inclusive, so when I'm given all the details I will quote you a price. And that price will stand for most inclusions to your ceremony such as if you want to include a traditional aspect like the sand ceremony, or jumping the broom, or acknowledgement to loved ones who have passed on, or you want to add a singer, or/ a speaker. These add ins don't warrant an extra cost, so my ceremonies are what the couple would like them to be, and it's up to me to create a ceremony with whatever the couples wants. The only thing that will cause me to add a little more to the price, is the cost of travel, if it's over 50 miles, or I have to travel to do a rehearsal, then I will charge accordingly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Allow them to speak and get to know them as the people they are. This way I will understand what they want. I will work with my couples who may have demanding schedules. By either in person, Skype, or FaceTime which ever works best for them and sometimes for me. I have an office so most of my initial meetings are there. As well as some small weddings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I take the time to educate myself. I educate myself on what people want, different religious customs, relationship building, relationships with individual self and the ever changing family structure. I have a masters in Advanced Psychological studies and Human Resource Management. Its in my nature and in my training to understand the people I work with.
