FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We always keep our ears low to the ground to make sure we're staying up to date on all the latest and greatest within our industry. We attend conferences, we sit in on webinars, we network and hang out with our colleagues (mostly while drinking tasty adult beverages) and so on.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Back when I was 21, I started a sales gig for a web-based company. I sold ads for their various websites and realized that people were willing to actually buy these ads despite the fact the websites were terrible. I realized I could do this web designers job much better than him, and they actually started farming out the design aspects of their web projects to me. After about a month of that I realized I was better off on my own, at which point, I quit, and became their main competitor. They really should have had me sign some kind of non-compete agreement :) That's their bad. Needless to say, I'm still in business and they are not.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We focus on the "big three" within our industry, web design/development, ecommerce design/development and search marketing. Our yearly revenue is really a pretty even split between those three areas of expertise.
