FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I plan on finding mentors and I am working with a few wedding photographers soon to learn as well as provide consistently outstanding work each time. I am taking workshops and researching which lighting equipment is coming out and how to use them right. Also I am in a chapter of the PPA so involving myself around more talent is well needed and much enjoyed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out developing film, learning how to make cameras and watching my Aunt Patty (who is a huge nature lover) alot. She was a huge inspiration for me. As well as my Uncle Pete (who did Weddings). I never liked being in front of the camera. I was an on-the-stage performer. I loved performing but ask me to smile? nah.. In the early 00's I joined a photographer's group started by my Aunt and learned alot. I was using PS 3.0 and self-learned my trade. I realized, the more and more I did it, that it was what I had wanted to pursue.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most I have done collectively have been couples and nature. Ideally, I want to travel and take photos for Nat Geo. Send me to Zimbabwe to photograph beautiful things that the cultures there do? Sure! Let's go!!! I would study the spot I want to go to and wait for the perfect times to create the magic.
