FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If my packages are not what you are looking for, let me know, perhaps we could work something out. I understand some people are looking for just a few images (let's say 5) and for 30 minutes top, in cases like that, I wouldn't want to charge you for a package that allows for 2 hours and 20 photos if that's not what you're looking for and if that's not within your budget. I don't mind working with customers. It never hurts to ask. I also do offer mini sessions at times, but those do not include a full package. If you'd like to know about any future mini sessions I might have, just let me know.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got my first camera (a fugi digital compact camera) as a kid. My earliest memories of photographing anything was during a family picnic; I couldn't put the camera down all day! I still even have those photos I took of Kermit the frog that was just laying on the pavement, and of my younger brother eating a watermelon with a huge smile. I've continued since, turning my passion into my very own photography business.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise you to look at a photographer's work and decide whether the quality of photos a photographer provides is something you'd want in a frame hanging in your living room. Look at the photography's style and decide whether or not that's a style you'll like for your shoot--not every style is for everyone. And don't just go for the "right" price.
