- Classically trained (ie strong fundamentals) - Works well with kids (we have an 8yr old) - Flexible in scheduling - Enthusiastic - Can teach remotely via Skype Finding the right instructor is not easy and always a gamble. We were lucky in this and now can wholeheartedly recommend Evegenii as an exceptional guitar instructor. As parents of an 8yr-old daughter, our goal is for her to keep progressing and not to loose her enthusiasm for music, even as they dive deeper into relatively complex stuff. Evgenii manages to teach via Skype and to do so surprisingly well, specifically to keep our kid interested and engaged in practicing playing her two guitars. Considering, our kid has never held a guitar before, this is a big deal. This instructor is patient and enthusiastic while presenting a lot of information per each lesson, as our kid's progress is moving along. My wife and I are impressed and deeply appreciative of Evgenii's time in teaching and doing it so exceptionally well!

Eugene is a top notch professional. I especially liked the lesson planning and homework. It's also nice if you forgot something, then at any time you can ask a question and get an answer with a video or audio message, where Evgeny explains the task in detail.

Evgeniy is my guitar teacher. I'd start study guitar for 1 year ago. I've never play music before. But now I know basic music notes, i know how to read music text and i can play simple melodies. Evgeniy very good teacher, because he can talk about very difficult things in a few simlple words. I study giutar playing with my son, and he likes it too. Now we start to play in a couple. Evgeniy is professional musitian with a big knowledges of music, different methods, and skills.

First of all, you need to define your goals. Then we study the basics of playing and music theory. After we select the direction in music we like.

I graduated from two music schools as a pianist and guitarist. Later I graduated from the Gnessin College of Music in Moscow and the St. Petersburg Conservatory in guitar class.
