My fiance and I hired Juste Hors D'Oeuvres and Much More, LLC for our intimate wedding of 100 guest and could not have been happier with our decision! Marylyn and Neal were such a pleasure to work with throughout every step of our wedding planning process. Our guests raved about the food (from appetizers to entrees) and couldn't get enough of it! Both Marylyn and Neal went above and beyond our expectations, providing us with quotes and contact information for lighting, equipment rentals, alcohol and even ice! Our guests gave us an abundance of compliments of the entire Juste Hors D'Oeuvres staff that worked our reception. What we were most impressed by was Marylyn's ability to provide exactly what we wanted while keeping within our price range. Overall, the folks at Juste Hors D'Oeuvres helped make our wedding as perfect as we could've hoped! Chris and his sommelier Roman cooked us up a night to remember. We enjoyed cocktails with gin with cucumber and ginger, plenty of tasty hors d'oeuvres (including wrapped stuffed dates, mixed tomato croutons and sailboats of green apple, brie and baconesque prosciutto) and a delicious main course of filet and rosemary potatoes. The dessert was a decadent chocolate sponge cake with tiramisu & pecan ice cream. Chris and Roman came to our Airbnb three hours before cocktail time to set up and start cooking; they cleaned up before leaving. They indulged us in political and gastronomical discussions during their prep time too :) An evening of a relaxed yet gastronomical indulgence with super friendly and profession team. Thank you, Chris and Roman, for a wonderful birthday celebration for Fiona!
I can not say enough great things about Rich Stein. From the moment he walked in, Rich and Paul Kane had a great energy and presence that added to the buzz of my wedding day. They were communicating and engaging. All of that would have been for nothing if the food was not good. The food was EXCELLENT. The eggplant rollatini was incredible and everyone talked about how good it was. The food was fresh and flavorful. I can't forget the broccoli rabe and sausage. Paul was great in that he put his hands to do whatever was needed to help, from appetizers to the ice to cake. I also want to throw in that, this being a backyard wedding not many people wanted this small affair but Rich took the job and made this small backyard wedding feel like a much larger wedding with the quality of food. Rich and Paul far surpassed any of the praise of previous reviews and I don't think this review can show how appreciative I am of Rich Stein for making my wedding day special. Thank you, Rich. Whether you are having a small get together for a few or a large gathering, be rest assured that your event will be amazing! Chef Michel is extremely professional, respectful, and friendly! He catered 2 events for our family and we were very pleased with both. The first was a party of nearly 100 people celebrating our son’s college graduation and daughter’s high school graduation. Our second event was a last minute post Thanksgiving weekend family get together for 12-15 people. Everything from the planning, to taste testing, and delivery was on point. Aside from the food being beyond mouth watering delicious, he coordinated with outside vendors to provide everything we needed to make the graduation event beautiful. He also provided on site chefs and wait staff, all of which were professional and attentive to details. They were flexible in their assigned roles and remained past the scheduled time to attend to our guests and clean up. Our home was left as clean as it was when they arrived! Chef Michel prides himself on delivering the best quality and freshest foods possible. Other than a few items that required pre-prep (like marinating / slow cooking...definitely try the roast pork and roast chicken) everything was prepared (cut, fried, cooked, assembled etc) on site. This truly makes a difference when you’re serving items like empanadas or tostones with avocado and shrimp (both highly recommended). Chef Michel is very creative. Whether you choose something from his printed menus, have other items in mind, or even have a special recipe that you want him to prepare...HE CAN DO IT! An important point to make about his catering style is that he is so proud of his creations that he wants everyone to be able to taste everything that he prepares. If you choose an appetizer and you have 100 people, you are not going to get 1 or 2 pieces per person or be charged by the piece, like most caterers. He will make sure you have more than enough for everyone. The same applies to your main course. We had leftovers for ourselves, even after our guests took food home. With all of this said, I truly feel that his prices are fair and reasonable! I could write more and would be more than happy to speak to anyone who has any questions, but I’ll end with...make sure you try his homemade ice creams (our favorites were coconut and pineapple), flan, and especially the sangria!
I was really satisfied with the cake from Laura. I had a red velvet with chocolate mousse with cream cheese frosting cake. It looked so beautiful and tasted really delicious. She made sure I got the wedding cake I deserved. Great value for less price.

Owned by 2 very dynamic Austrians It's a thrill to see one part of the duo, Chef Albert preparing mouthwatering bits of artful compositions amongst others a delicious pulled,fork-tender braised Shortrib in an artisanal Brioche bun, served with horseradish cream and crispy onions; if you have a sweet tooth a must is the Apfelstrudel,(apple strudel) a layered pastry filled with thinly slices of crisp apples, sprinkled with powdered sugar... all this lushness is served by a professional staff, who have impeccable timing working with ease through a large crowd of hungry guests.... I had planned my bachelor party to be in the Hamptons during October. This was my first time out there and had no idea where to start. I definitely wanted to have a special dinner with my friends while still keeping it affordable. We were a group of 13 people. My friend recommended using F.I.G. Catering for my event and I’m so happy they did! From the beginning, Nick was so responsive and helpful. I didn’t know what would be good for this type of event and he had a ton of recommendations. He even offered to do something special and custom for my event. He made the set up process very easy and worry-free! Nick arrived promptly on the day of our event! He came prepared with an assistant to help him set up and work our event. Nick got to work immediately on our appetizers. He freshly prepared all of our delicious appetizers in the kitchen using fresh ingredients. We were able to socialize and enjoy the house while our food was being prepared. They would bring out our appetizers one by one and showcased each item on beautiful plating. I felt like a true King! For our appetizers, we had butternut squash crostinis, tuna poke. Chicken and waffle bao buns, grilled pear wrapped with jamon and the miso smoked halibut. Each appetizer was fantastic! It felt like there were freshly prepared at a 5 star restaurant. My guests keep raving on how fabulous it was to hang out and get served delicious food! Nick did such a great job at spacing out our meals. Shortly after eating our appetizers, we had the delicious shaved Brussels and fennel salad. It was chopped and prepared to perfection! Who would have thought a salad could be so delicious! We also had a wonderful pasta course. Some of us had the penne with grilled chicken and eggplant and some had the lobster tortellaci. Both dishes were excellent! For our entrees, we had a bunch of great options! Some of us had the seabass , Salmon and hangar steak. Being the bachelor boy, I got to taste it all! All of the entrees were so delicious! To top it all off, for dessert we had a doughnut with ginger ice cream. This was the perfect ending to our incredible meal. Overall, I would give Nick and F.I.G. Catering an 11 out of 10! Nick’s professionalism, responsiveness and work quality led me to having one of the best weekends of my life! I would recommend using him and F.I.G. for any event!
I've had the privilege of sampling many of Tristan's dishes. They are truly delicious and very creative. He allows the senses to heighten. The presentation of the food itself makes me go Wow! The rich aromas draw me in. The fresh tastes seals the deal. And just when you think it's over then the Ahhhmazing textures are the icing on the cake. They range from velvety smooth mac and cheese, lasagna to crunchy fresh salsas, guacamole, colorful sweet and savory salads. He is an artist; food and the kitchen is his canvas. And it shows in his creations. I highly recommend Tristan and will continue to do so in the future!
Hiring Ron and Miracle Catering for my wedding on 9/10/16 was the best decision we could have made. From the very start, Ron was very professional and quick to respond to all questions and inquiries. He set up a taste testing before the wedding at my parent's house and from that moment on, we were sold. The food was amazing! I never was that excited about a salad before. Ron was also flexible with planning a menu around our needs and style as we wanted an appetizer/station only wedding that was heavily vegetarian. Ron provided helpful suggestions to make the menu diverse and well-rounded. Ron and his team were able to manage our difficult venue setting that had little indoor space and no kitchen. The day of our wedding went so smoothly mainly due to the staff at Miracle Catering. We rented linens through them and Ron's team did a beautiful job setting up the room without any directions. The staff were so friendly and helpful the entire night. The food was beautifully displayed. All of our guests raved about the food that included brie and roasted apple crostini, tacos, mini burgers, tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese, dumplings, mini baked potatoes with goat cheese just to name a few! We had a pasta station and an Asian station (that had a beef/chicken and a tofu stir fry option). We also used Ron's baker and the cakes were delicious and went perfectly with the ice cream sundae bar. My only regret is that I did not eat more at my wedding and did not take home a doggie bag. I am actively seeking another opportunity to hire Miracle Catering again and would highly recommend them for any event.
I had the pleasure and sweet surprise of JADA's Delights at my unplanned 35th Birthday celebration!!! The cake was hands down beautiful and truly reflected my personality. The taste was full of flavor, richness, and quite delicious. In addition, the cream inside the cake was light and fluffy with a hint of sweetness! The ability to create two different flavors within one cake is a great skill and adds flare. Overall I was very impressed and would definitely request pastries from JADA's Delights in the future.
Britta catered a wonderful dinner party we threw for about 19 people. The food was light and delicious -- a threw course meal with a yummy salad, roast chicken and berries & cream for dessert. Perfect for a dinner party, savory without being too heavy and weighing our guests down. Britta worked with us to come up with an outstanding menu that was within our budget. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I hired Classy Staffing for my engagement party this past weekend. They came earlier than anticipated. The team was very professional and helpful with assisting and catering to my guests. I would highly recommend them!

I hired Greg Nurse for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen birthday party and couldn't have been happier with his service. He catered the party at my house. He was there early enough to set up all the food and seemed very meticulous on how he presented it and it showed. He catered the menu to both the teenagers as well as the adults. He asked for my input and also made suggestions. He even created a very elegant menu which he placed on the table for all to see as they came to get their food. He made chicken fingers and home made French fries, penne ala vodka, chicken wings, an amazing salad and so many other tasty and fun foods. For dessert, he had all the makings for the kids to make ice cream sundaes from fresh fruit garnishes to hot fudge syrup and sprinkles. He even had a chocolate fountain. He thought of everything the kids (and the adults) would enjoy. I was very impressed and believe that he truly went above and beyond with his service. His food was absolutely delicious and mostly everyone went back for seconds. I can't really think of anything he could do better in the future....everything was perfect!
Jasmine and her sons were on point across the board--their food, presentation and personalities were all terrific! This was a two-day, outdoor event, that unfortunately fell on the hottest weekend of the summer--temps in the 90's and choking humidity. No complaints from Jasmine & company--they were real troopers. Repeatedly had to send out for more ice as the temps were melting it so fast--everything was kept cold and fresh on the ice. Wraps included a scrumptious hummus and vegetable--a non-flavored hummus, but with just the right seasonings to bring out the best. Breakfast offerings included plain yogurt parfait, with fresh fruit and homemade granola-so yummy. All excellent selections. And last, but not least, a clean & sanitary set up. Thank you Occasions Catering & Cupcakery! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a fine, reliable caterer!
We have had 4 different parties with Creative Dream Parties! Each party has outshined the last. Working with Debbie is so amazing. She goes above and beyond. Each person at the party feels so catered to. I especially love how Debbie gets every detail right. We have had a princess pirate themed party, a superhero party, a Pokemon party and we even had our son's baptism party with Creative Dreams. The party favors are so over the top. You won't be disappointed. Debbie's eye for detail can't be replicated. One of the most unique features of this awesome party space is the separate area for the parents... Parents can socialize, eat, and mingle while enjoying the festivities with a mimosa in hand. This is also one of the largest party spaces in Manhattan that I've ever been to. Debbie doesn't just create the party, she creates your child's dream party! No request is too great. My son wanted a Rescue Bot cake with tons of characters and Debbie made it happen! This is party planning at its finest. Whether we've asked for a candy Buffet, ice cream sundae buffet, or setting up a scrumptious buffet for the parents, Debbie has made it happen! Debbie simply rocks and travelled and created the baptism party in a restaurant that I chose. She worked hand in hand with the restaurant owners to create the coolest baptism party, ever! The kids were entertained and the parents were able to party without a single worry! Debbie's staff really is superb and are well trained. I love the fact that Debbie also created a joint birthday party in a local Italian restaurant for our sons. She decked the place out and the restaurant owners were blow. Away by what she did to the place. I think of Debbie as my party planning fairy godmother.
Blue Marble is the BEST Ice Cream I have ever tasted, and all my friends agree. Not only is it ORGANIC, but its CREAMY, and leaves no aftertaste like so many others do. They have a variety of flavors to choose from and I spend way too much time in front of the grocery freezer trying to decide so.... I always get a few. YUM
I highly recommend Chef De Sola, this wonderful Woman is a consummate pro with skills of a Michelin Star Chef with an engaging personality that puts guests at ease. (Our Male guests were taken with her for other reasons, but she handled it so well, even while they had a few too many toasts...we must have heard "Skol" 30 times;-) I hired her as even though I normally make a decent traditional Thanksgiving meal for my Family, I had guests from Sweden whom were celebrating their first Thanksgiving with us. I can only barely do justice to the spread this Chef made for 22 guests, alone with a server! Roast Duck with Lingonberry Port Sauce, Chestnut Dim Sum, the most insanely gourmet version of a "Green Bean Casserole"; Haricot Very, Wild Mushroom Melange, Delicate Butter Sauce and Crispy Shallots. An amazing Pumpkin Bisque in a Sugar Pumpkin with a Bruleed Topping....so unique. Then a Stuffed Turkey Breast with Homemade Apple and Cranberry Sausage Stuffing, and a Bourbon Gravy, Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Baby Peas with Cippollini Onions, and so much more. I wanted a fusion meal with familiar Swedish ingredients, and An elevated Southern Style touch, and more. And then the Desserts; Bavarian Apple Cheese Torte, Valrhona Chocolate and Hazelnut Torte, and more. The crowning glory was a Croque en Bouche with each Puff filled with Praline Cream, Gorgeous Caramel Spun Sugar and Candied Pecan garnish. I have used a Personal Chef for my husband's entertaining co-workers, as it seemed less "personal", and the food was dub par with a premium price. For all this was, it was affordable, you always tip the Chef, but we felt so guilty about the price, I think we made up for it and what we felt it was worth. This was a memorable event, I will not forget. I will use her again, and while I want to keep her a secret, I know she is building her already successful business here. Thanks Chef De Sola
