I have been taking Piano lessons with Robert for the past month and a half. I started as a complete beginner and I've really enjoyed my lessons. Robert is an excellent teacher who provides a structured method to learning while also keeping you motivated throughout. I'm already able to play a few songs and I'm looking forward to getting better!

Lessons with David were great. I've been playing for more than 10 years but haven't progressed much beyond looking up tabs on the internet and playing along to the songs I like. In just a few lessons, David helped me see the fretboard as a whole and play scales and chord patterns up and down the neck. As a result, my playing is freer and I have greater comfort in moving around on the fretboard and staying in key. It was exactly what i was hoping to learn! I'd recommend David without hesitation. He works hard to understand where your playing level is at and tailors his instruction to push you to the next level.

Jimi is an amazing teacher. His versatility and depth of knowledge, not only of guitar, but of music theory make his style of instruction completely tailored to the interests of student. Jimi is a musician in his heart and his passion for music is tempered only by his intense humanity. There are no drills, there's no yelling. There's only an immersion in music and true scaffolding of skills. Additionally, you'll find yourself laughing and learning all the same in a way that breeds a true life long love of playing. My lessons with Jimi added a dimension to my life in knowing and understanding music that is truly like a 6th sense. He enablers me to shear the world in ways I never would have otherwise. Anyone would be well served to take lessons with him--or just to talk about music with him.

Adam is an incredibly patient and motivational teacher who easily adapts to whatever style of learning and music work best for you. I'm very interested in music theory, and have found Adam not only knowledgeable about any of the questions I have, but also able to relay the concepts in memorable, easy-to-learn ways. His lessons are well-paced, and I always leave excited to go home and start practicing. Would highly recommend Adam as an instructor!

I began working with Chris around four years ago, as a freshman in college seeking a specific higher music education--I have been a musician my entire life, and desire education on a conservatory level, but do not actually want to attend conservatory. I have found that most music teachers of any kind have their specific way of teaching, usually a combination of traditionalism and their personal methodology. This doesn't work for everyone, and in my opinion, is often the reason why most kids don't stick with piano lessons. In my case, Chris and I had coincidentally similar experiences learning music--we both have strong ears that we could use to "cheat" as it were. I wanted to dig deeper into theory and find someone who understood how I heard and thought without judgment so that they could help me advance--Chris was exactly that person. We started ear training lessons regularly at my apartment and have not stopped since! He is such a pleasure to be around, extremely knowledgable without forcing anything on you, and extremely perceptive which makes him a fantastic personalized teacher. I am truly lucky to have met him, and would recommend him to any music student from a beginner to a seasoned pro looking to brush up and stay on their toes!

I am currently a freshman vocal major at Laguardia High School, and thanks to Jonathan, I feel I have a lot to contribute to the school. The great thing about my joint piano and vocal lessons with Jonathan, is that he doesn’t force any technique or style of music. He tailors my lessons to what I want to work on, which, for me, can then translate into my ability to perform at school. He is a skilled arranger and can mold a song to fit my level of playing so that I can accompany myself or my peers. Most importantly, the lessons are a blast! He is super encouraging and his sense of humor make it so much fun to work with him. Emma F.

Kaya is an amazing teacher, her professionalism could not be surpassed. She is the complete package: talented pianist, singer, patient, funny, kind, and undersranding of unique family dynamics. My 6 year old is incredibly timid and does not warm up to people easily. Kaya was understanding of that and even when I was about to give up, she persisted, becoming friends with my Olivia which resulted not only in Olivia warming up to her, but in Olivia already being able to play several songs on the piano after less than 2 months. My little girl looks forward to her class and playing games with Kaya (games through which she has learned proper breathing and posture). This has already begun to pay off in more ways than one, Olivia can already play the piano and feels more confident. I highly recommend Kaya, particularly if you have somewhat of a difficult child, she seems to be able to connect in a way that has astonished me. If you have an easy child, than all the more reason to use Kaya because it will be that much easier for her to teach your child. This is by far the best investment I have made. Thank you Kaya All the best, Aurelia

I have known Ivan for many years and have heard him perform many times in many different venues. He is full of talent and knowledge, his repertoire is huge, and his music is soulful and full of feeling. He is truly and profoundly passionate about music (composition, performance, teaching). He is reliable, personable, charming, and aiming to please. Highly recommended!

I had a great lesson with Jim. By the end of the first class I'd been able to try a few different types of saxophones and just about play notes on each of them, despite never having even held a Saxophone prior to that. He had a very relaxed style and even took the time to suggest music to listen to once the class had finished. I'd definitely recommend classes with him to friends or anyone else wanting to learn.

I have had the honor of taking guitar lessons with Larry Meyer for about 3 years. Larry introduced me to the world of JAZZ and the concept of musical freedom through improvisation. Larry has truly inspired me to be a musician, and to think beyond my original guitar mind set. If you ask him a question, you will get an answer backed by a lifetime of musical exploration and experience, not to mention the serious undeniable pure talent. It is impossible to get a lesson from Larry and not be infected by his excitement of the music and the joy of revealing that infinite world to an aspiring player. I thank you Larry for your friendship and patience as you helped direct me through each musical stepping stone.
