Voice Over Lessons
Noah did a great job of bringing my commercial to life with a high quality voice over. Now I know I'll be getting a lot more leads from my commercial because of his fantastic work!Mar 1, 2019Verified
Noah, recorded my song "Um...Actually", now featured on episode 106 of "Good Job Brain"! He did an incredible job and is extremely professional and personable. The sound quality is amazing. I will be going back to record my Voice Acting Demo with him as soon as I possibly can. Take my advice and definitely seek out Noah's servicesMay 3, 2014
The proprietor is a longtime friend who agreed to help me record a panel discussion under circumstances that were, at best, adequate (the back room of a bar, with a periodically slamming door and a noisy bathroom). However, the end result is a very clean recording, which he was kind enough to do multiple edits on, when I decided I wanted various comments excised. I highly recommend Demos by DeBiase.Nov 26, 2018
Noah is simply the best. He's a mind-reader when it comes to audio production. He's always willing to see what's needed for the project and adjusts accordingly. There's no one better at the controls that Noah DeBiase.Sep 21, 2018
I have used Noah DeBiase on three separate audio projects, and I can't say enough good things about him. In each project, he worked to get a thorough understanding of what I wanted the final product to sound like. Noah asked questions I hadn't thought of, and he was very responsive any time I reached out with questions or concerns. The audio files were superior quality, and the soundscape made the experience more immersive.Sep 24, 2018
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been involved in the performing arts for most of my life. I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from New York University, which is where much of my storytelling education comes from. I've been involved with audio performance for over a decade, including several years of engineering, directing, and editing audio for my clients. My work on the audio drama Powder Burns has been recognized by the Audio Verse Awards in 2015 with a Best Audio Engineering award, and in 2017 by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences with a Voice Arts Award for Outstanding Storytelling, Best Performance.
- What types of customers have you worked with?My clients range from podcast hosts to panel moderators, with projects from audio books to audio dramas.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? For audio recording and editing, your engineer has to know what they're doing behind the controls. But on top of that, you need someone who can speak the performer's language, offering technical direction when needed, as well as shaping the artistic and storytelling aspects of the piece. Finally, for your piece to really shine, you need someone who makes you feel comfortable in the booth. If you're having a great time, the final product will be that much better.
