I received call from you and sent to you - I did not know until now after you wrote this negative review about us that you you have not received. I will send and ak kindly that you after receiving write a review that will overide this review - We pride our company on quality service and are upset that you wrote this about us. The link will also have a date that was originally created and sent and will prove the truth to this message Be careful how you use the word ripoff if you know what i mean regarding balance owed at event the 170 that needed to be sent. i will leave it at that for now

I hate to write a bad review, but our experience with Nick was really bad. Nick is all talk and promises a lot, but delivers on nothing. We hired him as a photobooth for our Halloween party of 1500 people. We were promised unlimited prints, and his staff only brought 800 sheets for 1500 people, so we ran out 1.5 hours in. We were promised social media sharing capability via a social media touchpad, this also was not provided even though we clarified that this was essential many times on the phone before the event. We were promised props - we did not get them. We were promised a plain background - we did not get it. Almost most importantly, the photo quality is HORRIBLE. The photos are blurry and unfocused. It is not worth it to save $100 to get such terrible quality. The only thing we wanted in the end (we didn't even ask for our money back) was to get a digital copy of all of the photos so that we could send them out to our guests. Nick somehow could only provide us with 500 photos, when there was a line of people all night. (It took more than one week to receive the photos he did have.) Not to mention, when we mentioned all of this, Nick was unapologetic and unwilling to work with us. He insisted that all of these issues were OK since his staff stayed one extra hour because they couldn't get to their truck. (What is the point of staying one extra hour if you can't even send the product that you stayed for?!) The only positive was that his staff was on time and was friendly when they were there. 4 photos on each 4 by 6- between 2 and 10 prints per session - approx 40 -50 sessions per hour. 160 to 180 photos per hour. originally booked 2 hours ran out of ink with 1/2 hr left stayed extra hr free sent you 500 digital images which included the 3 rd hr we did free. Sending you prints for 1/2 as well as free additional hour. My team had to stay another hour before leaving could not get through crowd jam packed get. They were scheduled from 10- 12 stayed till 1 for free then waited til 2 to leave I apologised for not having white backdrop / contract did not state white I normally use the blue bubbly one ( my mistake. To say I am unprofessional is not fair. I responded to you your calls emails and logo requests and did all I could - You were not charged for overtime which will gladly included. It was a pleasure dealing with you in all our numerous conversations and emails. I am you were unhappy with our service and photo quality. We have never had a complaint about that some were blurry I grant you that but the movement must stop when the countdown on screen hits the number 1- Nothing we can do about that. THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST EXPERIENCE WITH A VENDOR FOR MY WEDDING. Nick was extremely professional. He worked with our budget, very friendly, plays all music. We used dj connection live for our wedding and he was extremely on time for setup. He met before the wedding to go over playlists and etc. he's great at changing things on the fly as far as music selection and announcements. We also booked photography and video through Dj connection live as well. I won't comment on that yet because we haven't received the pictures and everything yet(hasn't been a week yet) But I definitely recommend Dj connection live for anyone looking to have a professional Dj for a great price.Mar 7, 2015Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Remember this: We own all of our equipment NO RENTALS! So in essence we can include 2 screens for the price of 1- We can offer free Video if you book our Photography Service. So with that being said we will beat your lowest price from a reputable company. We have the ability to do that if that is what it takes to secure the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Our Goal has been to offer new client MORE for LESS! I know when I am personally pricing out a service it's about cost first. Having said that I believe offering a potential client a great price as well as the option to pay at event in full when satisfied helps ease the booking process, once in the door - Well see the reviews they basically say it all.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am in the Entertainment industry for 30 years and just love music entertaining as well as making people smile. A great deal of my work is done for charities & fundraisers. Support Connection, The Miracle league of Westchester, Childrens Hospital of Montefiore to name a few.
