- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is pretty basic. We have a lower than average cost for service calls, and a lower than average cost for installations. We are expert in controlling overhead, and that helps us stay very competative in our pricing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend training sessions offered by my equipment distibutors, supply houses, and business associations. Additionally, I take classes to earn the CEU's that are required for my license renewals. I also attend seminars to keep up on new products and methods, especially green energy issues.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Funny. It was somewhat by accident. My dad was a roofer, I decided very young that was not the work I wanted to do in life. I have a brother-in-law that got me involved in heating & cooling. I fell in love with the trade, and have enjoyed every day since.
