I do a lot of Family Photo Sessions and Senior Portraits. I also do a good amount of Weddings. Newborn Sessions are always fun.

Communicate your vision and your expectations with the photographer prior to your photoshoot. Ask questions beforehand and get any tips that may help you and the photographer work together for the best results.
