Full Service Lawn Care
Quick to come out and start the job and very responsive. My yard was a mess and it looks so much better just after the first cut.

Lawn Mowing and Trimming
Jared responded back via email very quickly and provided a quote. He was out to my house for the aeration job within a few days. Quality job and he was careful to avoid our invisible fence line! I’ll use Born’s again in the future.

Lawn Mowing and Trimming
I called Jared to help with our lawn as my riding mower and weed whacker both need repaired, he sent a couple guys out the following week and they did a great job! They were very friendly and efficient. The price was very reasonable. This was the first time I've ever had a company come out as I usually take care of the lawn myself, I will call them again and I would recommend them for sure!

Full Service Lawn Care
We haven’t had them do our lawn yet but they have been very responsive on getting with us. This is a first experience with this site so hopefully everything will work out well.

Lawn Mowing and Trimming
So happy with the job Born landscape did on my lawn. Contacted them short notice with a tight deadline and they had someone out here as soon as possible and they did a wondeful job! So thankful I decided to work with them.

FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We are required to be certified by the OHAg for our fertilization applications, as well as for pesticide applications. There is a series of materials you are tested on and if you do not pass, you will not be awarded your licenses. At Born's Landscape & Lawn Care, we try to attend at least two "green" conventions a year, so either learning about new techniques or materials, or learning about new practices in the business, we try to stay on top of the industry. Moreover, we've recently flown down to Texas for extensive training in the program we use to manage our customers. By learning the ins and outs of our system, we can give customers a seamless service history and a simpler business to customer interaction.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We do a lot of mowing and fertilization work all year round. In the spring and fall months, we see an increased in landscaping installations and clean up, as well as lawn renovations or installations. Over the winter months, we offer snow removal and salting services to residential and commercial customers. Every season we have about 5 hardscaping jobs, which is installing patios or decks.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Don't trust an estimate that isn't bound to specific square footage or with a well vetted estimate; many times surprise costs will come up mid job or corners will be cut to stay in line with their numbers instead of your expectations. Always ask for you an estimate in writing as well. In landscaping and lawn care, the adage "you get what you pay for" is usually true; someone who is bidding significantly lower than others is either putting down subpar product or over extending their workers. The margins are pretty standard for product costs, so a significant deficit should be a red flag. Lastly, don't be afraid to speak up. We are a service industry and ultimately we want you to be happy. Let us know when you aren't and we all win.
