Wedding and Event Photography

Shawtography was excellent to work with. He scouted the venue and sent a mood board for me to review and add input. On the day of, he was organized and professional. We loved the final photos from our pre-wedding couples photo shoot.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is contingent on the session and subject. All of my clients are guaranteed some sort of digital download, whether it be full album for engagement shoots or select images for business and fashion. Another thing to keep in mind is that I am one of the few photographers that will personally edit each image to perfection. The time and energy and technical know how is also considered when providing a price to a client. While my prices may be more than the in-town hobbyist, my effort, expertise and delivery is worth it! Certain sessions are also granted prints and albums. I do have an exclusive print service for ordering product after the photoshoot.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Every customer is unique and has a story to tell. Even recurring customers have new stories and memories for me to capture. New customers will be provided with the same care and patience as anyone I photograph. My sessions are very relaxed. I like to let my clients forget the camera is even in the equation. It is so easy for people to get caught up in how they look. I would rather you remember how you felt at the end of our session. My job is to capture the most beautiful moments as they happen.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

After attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, I worked as a photographer for massive companies such as Nikon and Shutterfly. I have also worked with small-scale portrait studios, although my work is not limited to portraiture and collaborated with government agencies to promote public events and services at a local level.
