Anderson Construction & Restoration
About this pro
Over the years, Aaron has helped with many projects at my mom's house in Fairview Park. He is a good craftsman, he is also honest, easy to work with, informative and follows through with what he says he will do! Most importantly for me, is that Aaron is always pleasant to my mom and leaves the place nicer then when he came in... I never have to worry! I really do appreciate Aaron's common sense approach. He will let you know when you can save on a project and when you need to consider a broader approach. I trust Aaron and that is why we hire him over and over again.Jul 22, 2015

Is there a better word than "Outstanding"?! I. LOVE. MY. NEW. DECK!!! Aaron and crew were better than outstanding, they were FABULOUS! It was so smooth and easy to do business with Aaron. He is honest, reasonable $, reliable, on schedule and works very hard. I truly appreciate all the hard work that went into my project. I'm looking forward to doing business with him again for my next project! Thanks Thumbtack for helping me find Anderson Construction and thanks Aaron for exceeding my expectations of my lovely new deck! I've had bad experiences with contractors in the past but with Aaron, my only regret was that I didn't find him sooner!Jun 5, 2015Verified
We had two small reach in closets that Aaron turned into one large closet. He had to remove two dividing walls, and frame in a new door opening. They put up new dry wall and did all the mudding and patch work needed to get the closet paint ready. The project took a little longer than either of us expected, but he wanted to make sure it was done right which we appreciate. We are very happy with the finished result, and Aaron was great to work with. Thanks again Aaron!May 28, 2015Verified

- How did you get started doing this type of work?Even as a child I was interested in how things were constructed and how different components worked together. I remember getting into trouble for dismantling things around the house. A few years after school I decided to do what came naturally to me; building things. I started out landscaping, then painting, carpentry, and roofing, then electrical and plumbing. Though I will always be learning, time and experience is the best teacher.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?I have a client who is an older widow. She sold a larger home recently because she could not manage it anymore. I helped her get the house ready for market. The condominium she bought was a solid home, but it needed some updating, particularly the kitchen and bathrooms. She really wanted a nice kitchen to make her from scratch strudel and other goodies. I really went the extra mile for her due to her situation. The project was added on to and some changes were made along the way. We were both a bit worried about the Christmas deadline. I had promised her that she could have her family there for Christmas dinner. The guys and I pushed really hard and worked a lot of long days to get it done on schedule, even with the additional work. We pulled out completed on December 22. She was elated and we were very happy too. It was great.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?I would advise them to make sure that they found someone that would provide everything in writing and provide references if requested. The customer could then pick up the phone and actually talk to past clients if they desired.
