- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing may be done by the hour or a flat rate, depending on project size and it's timeline. NOTE: Do you only have an idea, but DON'T have a completed product and manufacture plan? + 2 hours of consultation on new product ideas: $60.00 + 2 hours of research and development in order to formulate a concept into a product plan that fits market trends: $60.00
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consult with the client to provide a complete scope of work, and give a reasonable quote based on the needs that are presented. Once we begin design production, I will work closely with you each step of the way to assure symbiotic progression to the ultimate finished project. This avoids re-work or unnecessary modification expenses. Once a job is complete, we will review the finished work for approval, arrange method of payment, and transfer finished files, 3D prints and prototypes via email and/or shipping to your location. Post process: Request good rating/review based on customers satisfaction. Follow-up with client after close of business, to assure product is performing to manufacturing expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certifications in AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, Gibs CAM, Solidworks, CNC machining, and hands on learning and experience in many facets of the manufacturing industry starting in the early 90's.
