FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always trying to learn more about what I do. I love to talk 'shop' with others in my line of work and compare ideas. I attend trade shows as well whenever I have the time. Be wary though, just because someone has a new method of doing things, that doesn't mean it's going to be better that the good old fashioned way!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to college for several years to pursue a degree in teaching, which I do love doing and thought was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. The part I wasn't prepared for was that I love to work with my hands and I soon realized that I had already found the job that I loved. (I started painting when I was 14.)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be thorough, and ask as many questions as you can think of. A true professional should have an answer to any question you can come up with concerning the project at hand.
