Cap City Piano and Voice
Peggy was a fantastic instructor. She was very knowledgeable and very her lessons were well-structured. I went into all of this with no formal training whatsoever. I had always wanted to learn how to sing but was always afraid to take it to the next level. After meeting her for the first time, I knew I wanted her to be my instructor. She made me feel at ease and even though I was nervous at first, each subsequent lesson I had, I felt more and more comfortable and couldn't wait for my next lesson. She was able to find songs that fit perfectly to my vocal range and she made me believe I could actually sing. And there were times I felt like I had been singing (and singing well) for years all thanks to her. I would recommend her to anybody regardless of their experience.Dec 28, 2017VerifiedPeggy M.'s reply
Thanks, Mark! It was a pleasure working with you. I hope your move went well and that you can find an instructor near you to start back up again.
I didn't know what to expect when starting to take vocal lessons, but my fears were quickly relieved after my first few sessions with Peggy. Even though my time got cut short due to my changing schedule, I feel as though I benefited greatly from the months I did spend. I have a much better understanding of how my voice works and how I can continue to improve. I highly recommend Peggy to anyone who wants to really begin to understand their voice and use it to its maximum potential.Aug 7, 2017Verified

I started teaching both piano and voice about 20 years ago and have loved every minute of it.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started teaching part-time 20 years ago as a way to earn extra money. About 5 years ago I decided I love it too much to just do it part-time.
