We gave my Dad Jazz guitar lessons for Christmas. He is an experienced amateur guitar player who is 51 yr old and wants to take his playing to the next level. He is an engineer that needs to feed his creative side. He said it was the best gift ever! Thanks for all of your help!

I took beginer guitar lessons from Denny a few years back, and he started me on a path of falling in love with the guitar. He moved out of town and I had to find a new guitar teacher. But it is because of Denny that I am still strumming today. Very reasonable priced compared to others.

Mike is teaching my teenagers and has taught my 11-year-old. He has a good way with kids. He doesn't act overly excited about mediocre effort like some people who work with kids do. Instead he calmly gives praise or corrects and gives them time to work on what he's instructing. I don't need to monitor our guitar lessons or worry about whether Mike and my sons are getting enough done for my money. He's very trustworthy. Plus he's a cool guy who makes everyone just want to be good at guitar like him.

I'm glad I chose Tyler Aukerman for my guitar teacher. He is a clear teacher, very knowledgeable about guitar and music theory, attentive to his students needs, while also organized and timely. I had another teacher in the past but he had no professional training and as a result was a very poor teacher. I've never had this issue with Tyler. I'd recommend him to anyone parent looking for a teacher for their kid or adult looking to take lessons.

About

For anyone looking to improve their technique or knowledge of music theory or just a beginner. I'm looking to begin teaching a few students in the Toledo Area. A little bit about me. I'm 22 years old. I've been playing for 6 years. I attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California from 2011-2013. I've had private lessons with Paul Gilbert, and attended countless clinics from players, such as Guthrie Govan, Andy Timmons, Tosin Abasi and Allan Holdsworth. I can teach you anything from playing over changes, advanced harmony and theory, technique or even just basic chords, or the alternative. Shoot me an e-mail with what you are interested in learning, and if I am able to help, I can provide you with a custom-tailored instructional in the form of a PDF plus videos of every exercise or lick. All lessons will be held at my apartment within 10 miles of UT Campus. My pricing is $25 for 1/2 hour, $40 for 1 hour and $15 for PDF instructional plus videos.

About

Are you tired of typical, standard tuning guitar playing? Are you trying to broaden your horizons or expand your playing capabilities? If so, alternate tunings are a great way to do so. Even if you're a beginner just starting out, I can show you quicker and more efficient ways to increase your playing abilities. Before you know it, you'll be composing your own tunes and having people wonder what tuning you're playing in. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years. My influences are vast and wide, but usually include those that took guitar to another level, such as Lee Ranaldo and Thurston Moore of the band Sonic Youth, Kurt Vile, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam (their song "Daughter" is in a cool tuning), Wilco and many other artists. Ill break down how each specific tunings is used to create a different musical sound and unique sounding guitar playing. I can supply references upon request.

About

I teach beginning to advanced guitar lessons to people of all ages. Teaching the right way and progressing at your own pace are very important to me. I am a long-time musician, both professional and amateur. I am looking forward to spreading my passion to others.
