Introduction: Does your dog have issues? I work one on one with dog owners to correct behavior problems. I travel to the home to consult with the owner(s) and observe the problems that need addressing. I educate owners in the areas of dog psychology, body language and methods of correction. At the end of the first visit, usually lasting anywhere from one and a half to two hours, I set up a plan for the owners to follow for the next week or two. I return at the end of that time to follow up and check progress. If further sessions are necessary, I will advise the owner of that at that time. I specialize in aggression cases. I have been fortunate to have been able to save several dogs from having to go to shelters or be put to sleep. I absolutely love what I do, and it shows in my work. I will go the extra mile for my clients. The method I use is cheaper, in most cases, and more in depth and effective than traditional obedience training. My clients love the fact that they can use the knowledge I give them with any dog they may own in the future and never have to pay for training again. Clients love that, after trying everything else with little or no success, I can step in and correct the problem in 1-3 visits. I will travel anywhere within 2 hours of Cleveland, Ohio.

Kelly is fantastic! She is very professional, and knows her business very well. She was immediately able to identify my dog's issues, and provided a plan for us to work with that was easy to follow. We still have 1 more session with Kelly, but so far, we have seen great results. Using her plan, we are already seeing substantial improvement in our dog's problem behaviors. I would recommend Kelly to anyone having behavior issues (especially aggression) with their canine friend.

While Kelly is nice and knows basic information that I myself had pulled off the internet it was not worth the expensive price! I was expecting the dog whisperer for $400. She never called back to check on progress either. She does not have any professional training to be a dog trainer. She is a vet tech. I'm having to look for another training!

Thelma, I am truly surprised to see this today. When I left your house I asked you to please be sure to call me after one week to let me know how things were going and to let me know what day and time to schedule the second session for. I never heard from you so was going to call you this week. I outlined what further training we would be doing in future sessions also. If you don't follow through and schedule the rest of your sessions then you can hardly expect results. I was a vet tech, past tense, but spent many years before that helping people with their dog(s) behavior problems. I have never had a bad review from anyone, nor have I ever not gotten a client the results they were looking for. I think it is extremely unfair for you to post a review like this after only the first session and without calling me after the first week as you agreed you would. You are publicly trashing me and the quality of my work for very little reason. Obviously, this could effect my business and it is unwarranted. All of my client are told to call me, when convenient, to discuss progress. I believe I even emphasized how important it was to do so. If you would like to finish what we barely started please call me and we will continue on.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do not hire anyone to train your dog, it is the owner that needs the training. Look for the "trainer" that will take on any dog regardless of the severity of it's behavior. Teaching a dog sit, stay, and heel will not solve other psychological issues that it may have.
