Sharon W. says, "I was in a pinch to get some IKEA furniture assembled after IKEA’s friends TaskRabbit bailed on me last minute. Juan’s schedule online allowed for Instant Booking which was great because I could see that he was available the next day (a Sunday 😁) He confirmed my appointment and the next day, texted to let me know he was on his way. He arrived exactly when he was supposed to and got right to work. He’s a super nice fella. I had 3 large, labor-intensive pieces and 2 end tables. He had a smart plan for how he was going to attack the assembly which reassured me. I/we set him up in the laundry room of my apartment building due to the amount of space needed for him to work on 2 sets of 2 identical furniture pieces at one time. Then I went to my apartment to lie down and sleep off a migraine. I was confident things would go well. A while later I popped in him and he was making excellent progress, so I again left him alone to work. I did one more check-in a couple hours later and watched him for a few minutes while he did some detail work on a drawer that went closing right. I was very impressed! When he was done all of the pieces looked great, although I couldn’t see the fronts of two large pieces because of the space limitations in the room. All of the door knobs were aligned properly which is a pet peeve of mine. He assembled for about 5 1/2 hours and that seemed reasonable for the amount of work I had for him. It’s nice to have someone reliable, friendly and meticulous when you have a project you might want to do yourself to save money but just can’t handle. I would absolutely hire Juan again for any of his services I might need in the future. Thanks again, Juan!"See more

Chrislyne H. says, "Shane is AMAZING at what he does. He helped my family with an issue we where having in are kitchen with the air conditioning vent being blocked by old lower kitchen cabinets. Initially we thought we would have to take the cabinets completely out in order to unblock this air vent which is absolutely needed especially this time of year. He came over and made wonderful suggestions on how he could fix are air conditioning issues without having to completely remove are cabinets. He is so polite and respectful when working with his clients. I am on the autism spectrum and loud noises can tickle and irritate my ears with me being noise sensitive. I like to be given a warning if possible before experiencing loud and high pitch sounds just so I can mentally and if needed physically prepare for it so it's not a complete shock out of nowhere. Shane would tell us ahead of time everything he was going to do something loud with no questions asked. He is so wonderful one of the best handyman we have had the pleasure to work with. We had such a great experience with hiring Shane that we already where thinking about other future handyman projects that we also want done and we know exactly who to call.....Shane. I was able to make an appointment within 30 minutes for someone to assemble a dresser I thought I could handle, but realized it would take me a week to do it by myself. Two gentlemen came on time, were gracious and left me with a beautifully assembled piece of furniture. My dog liked them and I trust my dog. It was magic! Dan responded to my project request immediately with a very fair estimate. He was very easy to stay in contact/communicate with before our booking. We liked that he was friendly, but got right to work as soon as he arrived. His quality of work was awesome & our furniture looks great. We will definitely have him back for more projects. He assembled a loft bed, a small dresser & a massage office chair in less than two hours. Lol, this would have taken us the entire weekend!
