Quick responses to needed repairs, willing to go the extra mile for my Outlet repair, and floor installation.
Jack did a great job on our kitchen backsplash. We had Jack install 3x6 white subway tile with gray grout. Turned out great!
Decorative Painting (Acey Holt) performed an outstanding paint job on the exterior of our home...We found the company to be extremely customer satisfaction focused, displaying skill, dependability, and professionalism. We highly recommend Decorative Painting for all of your painting projects...We, definitely, plan to call upon Decorative Painting (Acey Holt) for our future painting needs.
James is/was professional. I wanted to have my laminate floor finishes (90% already done), but when I asked his opinion if I it was more expensive to have him finish the floors done or have them carpeted, he gave an honest opinion. He subcontracted a carpet company that did a good job. But, they didn't show up the day they said they were. Not James's fault. I. Any case job done. James is on it.
Great work. Got a hold of him last night and was able to set up an appointment first thing this morning. Jerry and his colleague arrived early for the job and got straight to it. I showed him all of the issues and he ended up replacing burst pipes leading to my bathtub (original job) and did a bunch of extra for me also (replacing old rusty valves and pipes and adding in insulation to prevent frozen pipes again). He walked me through everything he was doing and showed me all of the stuff that was bad and needed replaced. Couldn't ask for a more pleasant and efficient team for the job. Would definitely recommend.
We contracted with Ian Cheadle of Cheadle Construction (937.580.9098) on December 4, 2015, and we are very glad we did. The project centered around the replacement of carpeted and tiled flooring with 3/8 inch Engineered Hardwood in a glue-down installation. This was a project that we, homeowners, had started the previous May, but after completing our great room, the project lost momentum leaving our downstairs in a half-baked configuration. We were simply not looking forward to tackling the myriad of difficult cuts required for our front entry-way, parlor, and hallway, all of which are at odd angles to the walls opposite. In late November, we decided to hire a professional. We found Ian and contacted him via email and he came to our condominium ON TIME, sized up the work and had an estimate/contract prepared for us shortly thereafter. Some prices are a set amount, while others are by square-foot or linear foot. It was all clear up-front. We removed the baseboards, carpet, carpet liner, carpet tack strips, and tile ourselves, revealing a concrete sub-floor upon which the new project would be glued. We were not, however, able to chip away the mortar that was underneath the tile. Lucky for us, Ian had a tool similar to a jack hammer that was able to do that job. The particular choice of materials and the method of installation were ours, and were not products he had worked with prior. Ian listened to our own experiences and in addition did his own research, including contacting the company. So when he began work, he was able to hit the ground running. We should mention that this was "click and lock" flooring in name only; it takes some real persuasion with a hammer to get each piece to lay flat. And the glue, although a great product, is also very messy, requiring constant cleanup. The project also involved the installation of baseboards. We chose 1x4 common board, and did the sanding, priming, and painting ourselves, leaving the cuts and installation for Ian. He caulked all the gaps, leaving a finished, professional look. There were no surprises during the installation. Ian asked all the right questions, and turned our vision into reality in less than a week. Having done this work, ourselves, the previous May, I can tell you that his constantly cheerful attitude must be a superpower of some sort. So, now, the project is complete, the place looks great and we can once again welcome our cars into the garage, just in time for winter. This is a link to a photo on google drive showing some of Ian's work: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4P1TMU9HITkMWk4Y0dIVG0wSGM/view?usp=sharing We were delighted with how it all turned out. We hired David for a complicated water restoration project. Due to an improperly installed 1st floor deck door, water penetrated our basement wall, resulting in a complete wall and ceiling demo. David worked with us to fix the deck door the way we wanted it fixed, and repaired our basement so we can’t tell there was ever any damage (drywall, paint, trim, crown). He was incredibly responsive throughout the process , and came back to make everything look right when touch ups were needed. He worked very efficiently. Highly recommend.
Brad and his staff delivered as promised and we couldn't be more satisfied with their work. Our basement was completely and professionally remodeled and Brad worked with us every step of the way including changes that we wanted to make during the process. They also made it a point to clean up each day and respected our home which is a nice touch if you have had other contractors that didn't do this in the past. I would highly recommend Brad and Alhi to anyone for any construction needs. Easy and professional to work with and there are no surprises.
Rick did a efficient and satisfying job for us , he laid Pergo laminate flooring in our kitchen which turned out beautiful.
SP General Contractors have completed several jobs at our house....remodeled my half bath, tiled my bathroom, laundry room, and kitchen, replaced my washtub, took down my drop ceiling and added can lights, painted my kitchen cabinets, replaced my dishwasher, hung my new over- the-stove microwave and vent, and the list goes on. They were very professional, on time, went above and beyond. We are so pleased with their work that we have hired them for the 4th time to install laminate floors in three rooms of our house. We highly recommend SP General Contractors. Sincerely, Cheryl Woods, Dayton Ohio
We hired Cody Development (Brian Lightner) to remodel our master bathroom. During our initial meeting, we went over the project scope of work. I asked Brian for his opinion of the scope to make sure that I hadn't missed anything. He went through the list with me line by line making sure that I hadn't missed anything and to understand what we wanted in our design. He was always very polite, professional, and attentive to our needs. Each day he would txt me to us know he was on his way and to ask if we needed anything. He and his crew would cover our wood floors each day before starting work and remove the covers and clean the floors at the end of the day. What impressed us the most is when Brian ran into an issue that would effect the quality of the job, he would stop to fix the it before moving forward with the project. Unlike some who would merely put a band aid on the problem, Brian would take the time to fix it right. As we move forward with future projects, we won't hesitate to hire Cody Development once again.
Nick Green did an excellent job on my garage floor with the epoxy covering. He was very professional, reliable and always showed up on time, I highly recommend using Nick Green for flooring projects.
A&S remodeled my kitchen, cabinets, countertops, floors. It looks great, Quality comes first with these guys. They kept the mess down and had a lot of respect for the rest of my home. Couldn't ask for a better contractor.
The first time Chris came to my home was to install 800 sq/ft of laminate flooring. He and his team were professional and courteous to my family. They finished the job in one day and that included sawing down my door frames to accommodate the height of the laminate flooring. Since then, Chris and his team have tiled both my bathrooms, an entry way and laid all the carpet in my house. Not to mention paining most of my upstairs rooms. If you are looking for a good contractor with fair prices, that can tackle most any jobs. Look no more than Chris and the crew from Northeast Ceramic Tile.
