Derek and his Transformation remodeling team were absolutely amazing. They showed up bright and early every working day and finished the job beautifully and right on schedule. Communication was awesome and clear. Pricing was the most transparent I experienced after getting 7 other quotes. Derek seamlessly coordinated material orders and deliveries and relieved all the stress that can come with renovations. He helped make quick design decisions whenever there was a possible bump in the road making sure there was never any delay. The quality and speed in which the work was completed exceeded my expectations and it was an awesome value. My families basement is our new favorite space in the house! We will be using Transformation Remodeling for all future projects!

Derek did a great job placing our cabinets and competing click and lock flooring in our home. He quoted us a time and was able to complete the job in that time frame, even came extra days to ensure project was done in a timely manner and correctly. Would hire again!

Derek did a great job went over and beyond my expectations, was up front and explained when there was a issue that would increase the original estimate, I changed a few things on his original estimate and as noted he meet all my requests. He always kept me informed if he was going to be delayed for any reason. I would highly recommend him should you need a handyman for your home repairs, and I have him on speed dial should I, or my family or friends need his services.

Derek and his daughter, Simona, exceeded expectations for beadboard ceiling in my laundry room. I had a long list of prior poor handyman experiences so these two were a pleasant surprise. They were responsive within a few hours of my initial request, punctual on agreed upon time (scheduled in less than a week), hardworking, and polite. They made an extra trip to Home Depot for materials I had forgotten and still finished on time. Ceiling turned out beautifully. Would recommend!

I had a terrible experience with someone else I had found on Thumbtack when looking for a cleaning service. Derek and I had not been able to communicate until after I had made my original appointment. The people I used ended up cracking my toilet tank while trying to fix the flapper and I was forced to replace the toilet. I texted with Derek almost immediately and sent him pictures and he told me he would be happy to help me. After a couple more texts, this man showed up the next day with a new toilet and installed it and disposed of my old toilet at a very reasonable price. I have already given out his card and he's my new handyman for sure!

I book smaller projects at an hourly rate and larger projects at a flat rate that I give you before starting the work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For larger projects I discuss their goal, do an estimate if needed, plan out the work, generate a contract, then perform the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All my training has been on the job for the most part. I have taken a few classes at Lowe’s and Home Depot on tiling, flooring, framing, etc.
