I recently headed a committee that hosted a 30 year recognition evening banquet. The banquet was held at a venue that the group was unfamiliar with. Our venue would sit 200 persons, and we were unable to get into the venue until 2.5 hours before the event. When we began "shopping" for a caterer, I explained all of this to prospective clients. Although I have headed many such events, it is always a new game with each event. A Catered Affair answered all communication whether by email or phone call in an expedient and thorough manner. A Catered Affair visited the venue ahead of the event date and met also met one on one with me. I primarily spoke with John but also spoke with Chuck occasionally before the big night. I never felt rushed or that my questions were dumb or that I was pushing their buttons. Absolutely, top notch gentlemen to work with! Payments arrangements were worked out and occasionally tweaked with both sides agreeing each time. On event night, A Catered Affair arrived ahead of time, and we all rushed in as soon as we could to set dÃ©cor and the meal. John and the serving staff worked efficiently and looked like a great team. I heard no unpleasant language, questioning, or bickering. The staff gave us suggestions when we asked them, and everyone was focused on the main event. Our meal included appetizers, drinks, 3 meats, salad, starch, vegetable, and dessert. Many, many great comments were heard from the guests concerning the food. John and servers kept the meal line well stocked and flowing for our 155 guests. Their personal appearance and the table displays were exceptional! As we carried on with our event, the staff cleaned and were gone without a trace. I can't say enough good things about the experience!

I have worked with A Catered Affair on numerous occasions, usually at the Leapin Lizard event space where they have catered many weddings, corporate events, and parties. Chuck, Sven, John, Lee, and the entire staff are absolutely FANTASTIC to work with. Their professionalism, enthusiasm for their business, and above all their food is outstanding. Every event that I have observed has gone smoothly and received rave reviews from the clients. The attention to detail that each member of A Catered Affair displays makes every event special, elegant, and delicious. The taste and presentation of the food, as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, sets A Catered Affair apart from other catering companies. I highly, highly recommend this company.

Fabulous! John, Monica and Sylvester helped me create a memorable event for my clients. We had an amazing chef's dinner with wine pairings. John cooked while Monica and Sylvester served. All in very formal attire. My clients loved it and putting it together was so easy with A Catered Affair! The only finger I had to lift to get everything done was to send John my menu via e-mail. I just showed up and enjoyed the evening as much as my clients did!

A Catered Affair did a reception after a high school graduation for us. They were early to set-up and required no direction or further instruction, leaving us to do other things. Clean-up was very organized and quick.

We keep up to date via several catering magazines, catering websites and blogs. Our office receives the latest materials from a variety of wedding magazines and catering outlets.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We had the honor of working at The Ohio State University TEDx conference on February 14, 2015. We catered 3 different session, breakfast, lunch and afternoon break, each with 1400 attendees. The event was amazing and we received nothing but compliments regarding the food and service. Since the event, we've been asked to cater again next year.
