- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We use a software system that aids in creating estimates. Pricing is typically based off square footage of areas painted. A standardized system helps us create bids that are fair and competitive.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do a variety of projects, but most common are painting high interior areas such as two story entries or family rooms, exterior trim jobs, or entire exteriors. A lot of projects that require high ladder work are projects that homeowners tend to shy away from doing themselves. Our favorite type of project is when we bring in our designer for a Free color consult and we then transform your home with complementary colors throughout.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1) Ensure that the company that you are going to hire is fully insured. This protects you as the homeowner from having any liability should any issues arise. 2) Find out who is your point of contact should any questions arise on the job. Find out if they have a project manager who is available to come visit your job site and how everything will be managed. 3) Understand the type of paint they will be using. "High quality" isn't enough. Ask for specifics. The right products makes a big difference in the appearance and longevity of your paint job.
