- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. In Ohio, every teacher must take professional development courses or workshops. Each teacher must take courses directly related to their field of expertise. And, each Ohio teacher needs to get 18 credits (180 hours) of work in every four years to renew their teaching license.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I help students become better proficient in reading, writing, listening, and speaking Spanish. And, I help them understand cultural differences between the Spanish-speaking countries and their own. The most common requests from students is to help them prepare for upcoming quizzes and tests in their high school Spanish class.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I started branching out to teaching on-line learning through the Flipping the Classroom method. I created several lessons that will be used to teach students through a video format rather than the traditional note taking that often happens inside the classroom.
