Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I provide psychotherapy, individual counseling, and marriage counseling in Cincinnati, OH, for adults experiencing relationship challenges, life transitions, and anxiety. For the convenience of my clients, I now offer online therapy and online marriage counseling to residents of Ohio. I also offer Online Life coaching to out of state and International clients. I draw on 15+ years of experience in human behavior, human performance, and organizational behavior from my careers in counseling, business, marketing and sports. I also bring to my counseling a broad, multicultural experience, having lived, studied and worked in half-a-dozen countries around the world. Being a part of my clients' lives, trials, and triumphs is the most rewarding aspect of my work. I have been so lucky to share the journey of many individuals and couples. Sharing moments with clients where they feel empowered, optimistic, enthusiastic and bold is awe inspiring in and of itself. To contrast these moments with how clients first came into therapy feeling defeated, uninspired, or deflated, is simply priceless.

I went in skeptical due to past bad experiences but i soon discovered how different my experience with Sam was going to be. He listened without judgement. He was open minded and encouraging. He was quick to point out the things that maybe weren't so good to hear but needed to be said. He respected and honored my triggers. I felt so safe and comfortable discussing things that were hard to talk about. I really felt like he truly understood me and earnestly wanted to do everything in his power to help me. I went in to see Sam for depression. I had no hope. When i left my last session, i was strong, hopeful, and looking forward to my future. I trust him and i do not give my trust away easily. I would recommend him to any one i know who needs help. More importantly, if i ever need help again, I'll be returning to him.

Sam has a real talent for getting you to understand your situation in a new light. I particularly liked how he challenged me to imagine and create the life I wanted.

Sam Nabil is an outstanding counselor. He is both professional and relatable which is very comforting for someone who has not been to a counselor or therapist before. He is very knowledgeable and has shown great adaptability as different issues have presented themselves in our sessions.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

To be fair to all who are seeking my services, I use a sliding scale that adjusts my fees based on the aggregate family income of my clients.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    - Licensed Professional Counselor- Ohio - Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling - University of Cincinnati - MBA - Instiuto De Empressa Business School- Madrid,Spain

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would suggest you shop around :) Counseling - whichever type you may be interested in- is primarily a relationship. Like all other human relationships, your counselor can be great, but still wouldn't work for you. Research shows beyond doubt, that the quality of the relationship the counselor and the client(s) have is the single most important indicator for success in counseling. As such, finding a counselor you LIKE and feel comfortable with is more important than their expertise or method they use to do counseling. That may require seeing them or talking over the phone and deciding to try someone else. That is OK :) it happens, and it is healthy
