FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have reference pictures or illustrations of the garment or garment type you want to have made? If submitting an illustration make sure the file is big enough for me to see or be able to elaborate verbally or in writing the details that are visually obscure in the design. Make sure that you are available for verbal contact in case questions arise regarding specifics of the job that may need to be answered quickly. Seamstresses and designers are rarely working on one job at a time so, a delay in answering an urgent question can stall the production process of your clothing. Request a contract (formal or informal) outlining the specifics of the job and the cost. This way you protect yourself.
