Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: The reason I am different from other Personal Trainers is that I bring multiple facets of overall wellness and fitness to the table. I am TRX qualified and own the branded equipment, meaning we will obtain a full-body workout by utilizing functional and adjustable straps that can be suspended from a door frame, tree, post, etc. I am in school at the University of Cincinnati for Nutrition, currently learning the proper methods to assess the nutritional needs of various types of people, so I will be able to help with general nutrition questions. I also have experience working with patients in a clinical setting as a chiropractic assistant.

I have been a personal training client of Zach's for almost a year now. He is an amazing trainer who knows his field inside and out. He is always coming up with new exercises for me to do that move me toward my fitness goals and keep me from getting bored. He is also able to quickly change a session around if I am late or the equipment I need is being used so that I still get a full workout in that day in the time I have remaining. But, don't be late, those short sessions are intense. Zach thoroughly demonstrates each new exercise making sure that I use the proper form to get as much out of the exercise as possible without harming myself. He is willing to show me how to do the exercises as many times as I need. He is good at giving cues on how to do the exercise while you are performing it. Zach is also an incredible motivator and coach. He always has a few words of encouragement whenever he sees me struggling with an exercise. He keeps me going as hard as I can in our sessions. He truly focuses on you and your goals for the entire time of your work out. He never gets distracted by other gym patrons during your session. I would recommend Zach to anyone, from a complete beginner to more advanced individuals, seeking to better their physical well-being. You really need Zach on your team!

I have been working with Zach for over a year now. He is always on time, has everything planned out and set up when I arrive. He is very positive and encouraging while I am working through a circuit, and he will make adjustments, if necessary, to keep me moving and working. He even gives suggestions on what to do when I visit the gym outside of our training sessions, or for when I go on vacation. I have lost weight and gained strength as I would never would have done without these training sessions. I cannot recommend Zach enough.

My husband and I have trained with Zach for more than two years. He keeps the sessions interesting by changing up the routines week to week. He has taught us how to get an intense workout with—and without—using gym equipment and weights. Customizing each workout, Zach shows a genuine interest in helping us reach our health goals.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing will be explained during our initial assessment, which is completely FREE. The assessment will consist of a basic physical strength and endurance test, BMI and Body Fat % test, circumference test (optional), questionnaire, and a health and financial consult.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Since becoming a Personal Trainer in February 2013, I have done many things to make sure I am staying current on fitness education. I attended SCW Fitness Mania in Atlanta, GA in July 2013 to participate in a weekend workshop that included many cutting-edge fitness programs, including TRX, TriggerPoint Foam rolling, and Kettlebell amongst others. TRX will be highly used in our workouts. I have a Triggerpoint foam roller that we will be able to use before and/or after workouts to aid in muscle flexibility and recovery. Adding to my equipment inventory, I have a 15-pound Kettlebell that is wonderful for various types of functional movements, a plyo-step for cardiovascular endurance training, and a Slam-ball that is great for working out the explosive, Type-2 muscle fibers that will ultimately provide muscle tone to your body's physique. I have also been trained as a Certified Pro Rescuer on multiple occasions and am currently CPR certified. As I continue in the personal training profession, while having a passion for fitness, I will constantly pursue opportunities that allow me to enhance my knowledge of health to improve your level of fitness.
