Communication wasn't that great. Not impressed with their professionalism(or lack thereof). The guys that did the inspection and cleaning didn't know how much they were charging for my service. They showed up looking like pigpen. Started the shop act and it blew ash dust all over the fireplace area. They at least did clean it up. Told be 2 things wrong with fireplace and didn't even offer to quote a fix. Asked about fixing the damper and said you couldn't. I fixed it in 3 hours!Jan 18, 2017Verified

Was very pleased with the job they did. The cleaning of my chimney was done before I even knew it, they were quick and efficient and left no mess whatsoever. I also had them check a problem with the chimney cap, which I was concerned about, they determined that it did indeed need to be fixed. They ordered the necessary items needed to fix it and were back within a week or so and again did a very efficient job. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First of course is setting up an appointment to go to their home and talking with them about any concerns that they may have. For an example if it is a chimney cleaning, we clean it first then inspect the chimney. If we find any issues or concerns, we first explain the safety and or codes to the customer and answer any questions they may have. We then offer them a solution and price to take care of any repairs that may be needed. We do not high pressure our customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been train and educated by Master Chimney Sweeps and masons for several years before starting my business. Have been educated and trained in business management and ethics. Have been in business since 1988 and have either inspected or work on over 60,000 chimneys along with thousands of mason jobs.
