I've been training at StrongFit for 12 months now and would recommend it to EVERYONE. The trainers take a personal interest in your success and modify each workout to your individual goals and needs. If you are ready to feel amazing and be held accountable for achieving results - this is your place. In just a years time, training 2-3 days a week, I have been able to lose 7% body fat and complete a 5+ minute wall sit - goals far beyond what I thought I was capable of. Luke, my trainer, accommodates my crazy travel schedule and makes time for me to squeeze in last minute work outs without complaint. I am looking forward to seeing what this next year brings :)
I began weight training when I was a junior in college with programs and techniques that I learned from friends and the internet. I would try program after program with minimal strength and size gains over months and even years. After 4 or 5 years of lifting I believed I was an expert and just thought it was my genetics that was limiting my progress. I would constantly see others at the gym gain the strength and size that I envied. One day I decided to stop letting my pride hinder the progress that I have always wanted. I asked Kyle to aid me in creating a program that would help me gain both size and strength. What I got was the most fun and exciting plans that I have ever done. Kyle quickly showed me that I was nowhere near the expert I thought I was. He put in a lot of things that I had never attempted before. He detailed everything from the structures of the workouts, rep ranges, tempos, and even some exercises that I had never seen. Each exercise has a specific purpose towards your goal and he has the knowledge to explain why he put it in your routine. The times that I worked out in person with Kyle were eye opening. He would tweak a little motion or body position and it would completely change the whole feel of the exercise. He would give amazing tips on exercises to help pull heavier weight. Something Kyle said to me when we first started working together was “If you want to get bigger you have to move bigger weight” and that has stuck with me ever since. In less than a year of working with Kyle I have started to gain the size and strength I have always wanted to achieve. In the picture on the left I was 155 lbs and, now I’m sitting at 178 in the picture on the right (both at the same percentage of body fat!). I have been able to hit personal bests on exercises over and over again. Deciding to work with Kyle has been one of the best decisions I have ever made towards my fitness goals. I will continue to work with him in setting and accomplishing any future fitness goals.
Katie is so much fun to work with. She is so friendly and the whole time we do workout it was awesome. when is started i was not hoping that i would loose weight and finish my target in just 3 months. Katie made it possible and i lost almost 10 pounds in just 2.5 months of time with 5 day week work out for one hour.apart from loosing weight my stamina improved a lot. Katie not only trained us but has taken a very good care of our diet. We used to have regular discussions on our daily diet and gave us a nutrition plan to follow. I really appreciate for a great guidance and being so friendly and making us feel interested in doing work out. Will be missing all the gud time we all had during work outs. Ladies over 50 or who are in the "change of life": Please try a personal trainer. Josh got it through my hard head that we need to strength train. I always thought that cardio was the only important thing to burn calories. But when I noticed that my body was not responding like it used to in my 40's, I was frustrated and thought that menopause was unbeatable. I went to Josh just to see what personal trainers are all about. I learned the importance of strength training - Especially as we age!. Our body's shape can still be changed and re-shaped by strength training. You will notice subtle changes very quickly. Give it a try. Josh is extremely knowledgeable about the body and how our body uses nutrition. It all matters. Don't "give up" because of your age. Exercise and strength train in spite of your age.
Finding Derrick was a gift!! I searched for several months to find a personal trainer for myself and my 12 year old son. Derrick does an amazing job at challenging both of us while also making it fun at the same time! He has a passion for fitness that is apparent during our training sessions. I count my lucky stars that we are able to train with him!
Both of our kids have worked with Jason for approximately 3yrs. My daughter is a softball player and Jason worked to improve her core strength which translated into improved hitting. He also worked to improve her quickness and speed which helped her in the outfield and on the bases. Our son is a big kid who needs to work on his footwork and strength for football. Jason worked hard and our son saw great improvement in both of those areas. Jason's workouts are thoughtful and well planned. Our kids will definitely continue working with Jason!!!
I've been a 650 member for over a year now with a buddy of mine. He has lost over 50lbs and has increased strength. I've increased mass and strength. The owner and trainers are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. You can tell they are invested into the success of their clients. Great personal feel to this gym. Highly Recommended!
Abbie is a superstar. She only ever asks her clients to do their best. She is incredibly well-trained, and an expert in helping clients who have physical difficulties - whether that be in a general way, or a need to rehab from a specific injury. She was my trainer for 3 years, and I made great strides in strength and fitness.
Working and going to school full time does not leave much time or energy to workout. I need my workouts to be enjoyable and take no more than a reasonable amount of time while still accomplishing my goals. I do not have the time or desire to think about what to do in the gym or what muscles to work out on what day and that is where Eric comes in. I do enjoy working out and Eric is able to come up with fun programs that keep me interested. I have done cardio on my own for years but Eric has helped me incorporate strength training as well allowing me to tone my entire body, something I was not getting with cardio alone. I have gained so much knowledge from Eric that when I am not in the gym I can still use all of the knowledge to get a great workout in by doing the motions and exercises Eric has taught me. I feel that having a trainer is not a short-term commitment where you reach your goals and stop but a long time relationship with health and fitness where you gain knowledge that can be used for years. Erics upbeat personality is the perfect match to keep you motivated and moving! I appreciate everything Eric has taught me about physical fitness and nutrition. I recommend him to anyone looking to develop, improve or maintain a physically fit lifestyle!

She works to understand your goals and then creates a program just for you. She will challenge you to change eating habits and make better decisions for the long term. Tania has been training me now for about 3 months and it’s been a great experience. She keeps me on track. I am a former Division 1 athlete and I consider myself knowledgeable about training, but she regularly shows me things I didn’t know around cardio, strength, flexibility, injury prevention, or nutrition. She brings science to the workout. And she helps me stay accountable so that when I start to feel a bit lazy I keep moving anyway. Working with her is challenging and fun, and I’m in much better shape than I would be if I didn’t have her.
I've worked with a lot of personal trainers and Kevin is by far my favorite. He's really committed to his clients' success. Going so far as to lose weight alongside his clients. He always has a positive attitude. And he's helped me with workouts I can do on my own as well. Because of Kevin I feel a lot more confident walking into the gym and have seen my strength increase a lot.
Started working with Travis about a year or so ago. I'll soon be 60 but feel and look like I'm in my 40's. Have increased not only Muscle Mass but also Strength and Stamina. Not only is he a great trainer but he also knows "what muscles do what" and how everything is connected. I enjoy each and every session!
Jessica is so great at what she does! I was very hesitant to start working with a personal trainer being that I never have before and really have never lifted weights other than machines at large gyms like Planet fitness sometimes. I’ve progressed more with her in the last couple months than I ever have. I feel great and look forward to my sessions with her each week. She offers so much more than just an hour session. She’s helped with my diet and my work outs outside of the personal training sessions as well. She will adapt to your needs and comfort level but still push and encourage you when you need it. So glad I decided to give her a shot!
Linda and Baer fit took personal training to a whole new level. While in the process of achieving my goals I became ill and Linda and the staff were extremely compassionate and made sure to stay in contact with me the whole time! They leave no detail out in your personal fitness journey.
After a daunting high-risk pregnancy with twins (including 4 months of bed rest and a post-delivery surgery), I was looking for something that was fun and would help me get back into shape. I started taking Tate's kickboxing class in December 2013. I immediately fell in love! I was pretty weak at first (couldn't even do a sit up!), which was highly discouraging for me (I had always been pretty athletic). Tate helped me push through with lots of encouragement. I completely stepped out of my comfort zone and started Muay Thai personal training in August 2015. Since then, I've never looked back! Coach Tate is phenomenal at what he does. He crafts the perfect training sessions...a nice blend of cardio, core, strength, and drilling appropriate technique; his workouts are tough, yet I always feel a sense of accomplishment when finished. I HIGHLY recommend Coach's boot camp classes, or personal training for those who want to take their fitness and mental toughness to the next level.

TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT.....Katie is so fun & awesome to work out with! Her combination of cardio & strength training with the fun and excitement of learning boxing keeps you interested and excited to come back -- not to mention it is a great stress reliever! I was pretty sedentary and Katie is very patient and encouraging as I work on getting into better shape. I still have a long way to go, but definitely feel better and can do so much more than I could at our first session. She even celebrates my small victories and gives me things to work on between sessions. She is tough and will push you, but is able to tailor workouts to work with people who are just getting back into shape or haven't worked out in a while. On the flip side, she can make the people who are in shape WORK OUT. Plus, how cool is it to train with a boxing champ and learn from her??? Training with Katie is is awesome and if you're looking to work out and have fun, you can't go wrong choosing Katie.
Kelsey made a great mixture of exercises that worked everything. I am physically able to notice a difference in my strength and the toning of my body. I am very happy with my progress in just a few short weeks.
Mitchell has been my trainer for seven years. He is, in a word, outstanding. There is no judgement, he is compassionate and "meets you where you are." If you want to get back in shape, he can do that. If you are a competitive body builder, he can train you too. His work outs are creative and well thought out for you and your individual needs and goals. He always has a variety of exercises so you don't get bored. Mitchell has seen me through several surgeries and certain exercises are off limits. I have had four surgeries on the same knee and the surgeon commented that I probably would not regain full bulk and strength in my quadricep muscle. Using creative, non-traditional exercises, Mitchell has brought my muscle back. I think the beauty of Mitchell as a trainer is with regular visits you get total body workouts with multiple approachs. I never know what he's going to have in store for me.
