Introduction: CUSTOM METAL WORKS has been in business for 35 years .I have 40 years experience in the welding and fabrication industry .My services include but not limited to Shop and mobile welding, fabrication, cutting, forming, rolling, bending, repairing, installation, erecting, maintenance, salvage ,recycling, prototype development and project management. Industries include residential ,commercial ,industrial ,architectural , structural ,ornamental, food preparation , artistic, automotive, marine, restoration, mechanical, manufacturing and sheet metal among others. Materials include mild steel, stainless steel ,aluminum ,cast iron and cast aluminum and many alloys. My shop is centrally located in pleasant Ridge Oh. on Montgomery rd. just off Norwood lateral between 71 and 75. I have low overhead and network with other companies allowing me to offer quality workmanship at a reasonable price on time. I enjoy the weld fabrication field because of the unlimited possibilities and wide range of industries that requires our services. I feel that the creativity in the fabrication field is unmatched and unlimited .Every day brings something new and challenging and has peaked my interest for 40 years .Its just fun ! and Thank you for your interest in my company

Mark Allegra used a bait and switch approach on his work, quoted the work one way and billed the work another way (billed a lot higher). When confronted with his dishonest practice, he agreed to return the excess charge but once again, not followed through. Very disappointing, and praying for Mark to repent and change his dishonest practice. Be careful and don't be deceived. This is the worst service experience I have ever had. Very very sad to see this happening in this great city of Cincinnati.

Mr tong was charged exactly the quoted price.He was charged for 5 man hrs of labor.that is two men for 2 .5 hrs.I was sent a text that read and I quote" the estimate was based on hrs required to complete the work regardless of number of workers u would bring onsite " after I received that text mr tong made himself unavailable for an explanation and had his 18 year old son forward messages to me for three days.the amount in question is 75.00.i have bin in business for 35 years and have not had a single unsatisfied customer other than mr tong.had mr tong returned my repeated attempts to contact him personally I'm sure I could have educated him on the definition of a man hr..His son fully understood. I am very impressed with the work Mark completed for me. I typically don't leave reviews but feel I should praise a job well done. I got multiple quotes on this and Mark was by far the most reasonable and personable person I spoke with. The work was done in a timely manner and around my schedule which was nice. with custom work a standard pricing system is usually not applicable. There are standard hourly rates depending on types of material ,job location and other factors.A lot depends on engineering and design services,number of workers and various equip necessary to complete a project. a solid estimate is also provided before works begins and there are no additional charges unless approved by customer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
typical prefer to speak to prospective clients and discuss project details before any estimates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had 2years of vocational training , 3 + years of college to include mathematics ,robotics ,drafting and business management.5 years employment history and 35 years hands on self employment
