- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can give 5 & 10 lesson packages discounts. If you ask me to travel to your residence I ask to charge $25 on the base lesson to cover gas & expenses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we meet I will ask about what kind of music you like, if you have any dances that you've always wanted to learn. After a brief introduction, I'll let you know how the first lesson works. The first lesson I will guide you on to the dance floor and show you the 5 basic elements that make up 100% of any dance that I teach. We will practice those elements a few times then I will guide you how to put them together. At this point you'll be suprised, because you will think it can't be this easy! Then I will show you a few different dances that you might be interested in and see which ones you really liked, you didn't care for and ones that challanged you. Then we will sit down and I will ask you what you liked or didn't like, and then we will create your learning program to get you to your goals. Goals can be just spending time with your date, or finding out what you need to learn to go out on a social dance party and have fun, or even if you are interested in the competition world! Then we figure out a schedule that works best for us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 5 years of training with 3 different studios and The Ohio State Dancesport team in Columbus, Ohio.
