- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the business I do is for Weddings and receptions. Included in that is all of the planning, from first meeting, open communication with the client and other vendors, and the execution on the day of the event with every moment prepared with all vendors included. I have plenty of experience in dealing with all types of things that may come up during the entire planning process and especially the actual event.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure to do enough research into what you are looking for and hire on who you would feel comfortable in trusting your event to. The best DJ's are not always the most expensive DJ's. If you are looking for a good DJ, find one that listens to what you and your event attendees want.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that customers (and the general public) understood that as a wedding DJ, it takes a lot more than just playing an iPod or playlist. A true professional will be able to read an audience musically and play what will keep the party going, and keep the Bride & Groom happy. Also they can be expected to help in the planning of the reception and the events within it.
