Staining of 12 x 20 deck. The work down by Mr. Karam and his so called professional, and years of work experience turned to be a very!!! terrible experience. After coming home to what I was told to be a cleaned up deck and well preserved deck that was to be done by brushing the stain on was a two weekend clean of over spray on all my surrounding shrubs, bushes, lawn and even the house. The over spray even reached my neighbors house. The over spray killed 5 shrubs and even the lawn. I am still in a legal battle of almost two years trying to get things resolved. Some professional team. Turns out, after doing a lot of research on my own. I found out that Mr. karam uses this business as a front for tax proposes. Turn out he does some kind of import business from China, and is there 2 to 3 times a year for lengths of 3 months or better. DO NOT USE Beautiful Home Contracting....useless you want to turn your Beautiful Home into an ugly one!!!!! A.K. p.s. the review of the lady who said about all the free help from mr

I found Beautiful Home's Ad in a newspaper and called Mr. Karam to get an estimate on installing a kitchen hood vent. After receiving a couple estimates, I told Mr. Karam that I decided to install the hood vent myself. To my surprise, Mr. Karam was supportive to the idea and told me to contact him if I needed help. I did email him during the project and his answers were very helpful. The best part was that all of the guidance was free of charge.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I like creating things. Since childhood, I always loved carpentry. I built my own little tree house with 2x4's and nails back when I could hardly carry the hammer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't go with the cheap quote, mostly it is a bait and switch game, where they start low and work you all the way up to where they need you to be.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I take no shortcuts, money is important but the job done right is more important.
