Thanks you so much! It was a great project.
Elise help me bring to life a very sentimental image of a picture that I wanted drawn. She was thorough in ensuring it was exactly what I had envisioned and the final result is beautifully done. Highly recommended for her artistic ability, promptness, value, responsiveness and care for the project. Thank you Elise!Sep 14, 2020VerifiedElise Radzialowski's reply
Thank you, Melanie! It was great to work with you and I was honored to be a part of this project.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is difficult. If you're looking to own a high-quality mural, piece of fine art, or excellent design, it's going to take time, effort, and skilled labor on the part of the artist. Below are approximately my basic rates. These rates fluctuate depending on how much I want a project, how busy I am, or the difficulty of the project. ____________________________________________________________________ Basic Rates for Murals: $25 per sq. foot (Illustrative) $60 per sq. foot (Realistic) $5 per sq. foot of solid color (no details) +$25 for each person/pet in image. + Cost of materials (including gas miles). *If the mural is around or over 100 square feet, discounts may apply. ____________________________________________________________________ Basic Rates for Oil or Acrylic Paintings: $1.50 per square inch (Illustrative) $2.00 per square inch (Realistic) +$25 per pet, +$45 per person in painting. + Cost of materials. ____________________________________________________________________ Basic Rates for Watercolor Paintings: $1.25 per square inch (Illustrative) $1.75 per square inch (Realistic) +$25 per pet, +$45 per person in painting. + Cost of materials. ____________________________________________________________________ Money is hard, I'm not going to lie. I'm committed to offering what I believe to be a fair exchange of skilled labor for a fair price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Every client I have worked with so far has been amazing, and I love taking on new projects. Below is more or less my process: ____________________________________________________________________ When you reach out to me, I offer a free appraisal of your project, including: - Price estimate - Time estimate, - If I think I can complete your project with excellence. If it exceeds my skill level, I will graciously decline or refer you to someone whose ability matches the project. If you choose to go ahead with the project, we talk through: - the project overview - my artistic process - specific calendar dates - specific cost estimate / payment plan - any additional concerns or questions This can be via Thumbtack emailing or a phone call, depending on the size of the project or preference of the client. Once the details are worked out, I send over: - A plain English 2-page contract to be signed. This is simply a statement of work which establishes that I will show up and complete this project for you and you will pay me. Now comes the fun part: time to complete your project. ____________________________________________________________________
