Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My work is multi-faceted. Not only can I offer services to a diverse population by being fluent in Spanish but I also have many skills that broaden my abilities to serve. My Doula certification and yoga certification pair nicely together as body work/massage and exercise is very much a part of pregnancy care. I have extended experience in teaching topics such as nutrition and other areas of wellness. I have worked on many farms and learned how to harvest medicines from the earth. Furthermore, helping others to take control of their health. I think that working as a doula is one of the most beautiful ways you can serve someone. Doula means 'woman who helps other woman.' As a doula you are 100% there for the mother. If she needs water, massage, words of encouragement...you are there for her. I love giving massages and helping others feel good in their bodies through yoga.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a member of the Sterling Doula group and International Cesarean Awareness Network. Through these organizations I attend trainings and I am equipped with vital resources.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The majority of mothers who I talk to have had traumatic experiences in the hospitals with doctors and are seeking alternatives for their future births. Many women feel bullied to take medication by doctors/nurses and they are uninformed about the myriad of natural options they have before medical intervention.
