We listen to what our customers need and communicate those feelings to our employees so that we can fulfill those needs. We educate people about our products before they buy to help them make the best possible choices so that they get the most value. I enjoy hearing back from customers after we did a job for them and how they were so happy they worked with our company. I am fortunate that most of our work is visible to see and I can take pride knowing we did a job a lot of people can see as well.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We are a custom manufacturer of awnings and each job is unique. We try to compute the fairest price based the amount of materials and the required labor. Since we offer design services, sometimes it is not possible to estimate a job on site. We will do our best to provide you with a timely estimate in great detail.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Just like going to school, we feel that it is important to keep learning our craft. We are members of Canvas Products Association (Zone 7), which is a regional trade association with a focus on awning and canvas product seminars. We gather information from our peers and suppliers to learn the latest methods and newest technology. We also attend our international trade association's convention as well.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Since we have been in the business for over 30 years a common type of job is a replacement awning or a "recover" of an existing frame whether it is a patio, doorway, or window awning. We also manufacture new awnings with complete frames and covers. Weather curtains are now a large part of our business helping people block sun, wind, and rain during the summer months and can be used to keep your patio or porch warmer in the winter.
