The folks at You Move Me—Dennis, Dennis Jr, and Zac—were absolutely delightful to work with. Dennis walked through the project with me and helped me make decisions. They arrived on time for both days of the two-day project, ready to work. They worked quickly and thoughtfully, keeping us informed each step of the way. Their work quality was amazing. For instance, they packed and moved two curio cabinets, each stuffed with fragile family heirlooms, setting them up with everything more or less where it started, everything intact. Amazing.
Mostly, though, I was quite impressed by how they understood the big picture of the project and how they adapted their work to it. We were moving my mother into an assisted living facility. This takes care and compassion, and parts couldn't be rushed. They took the time to do everything as it needed to be done. They took what was a very difficult day and made it much easier for all concerned.
I wouldn't be surprised if another mover could have done the job cheaper. But I would be very surprised if anyone could have done the job better. They really understand that they aren't moving furniture, they are moving people. Their work was worth every penny of what it cost.
When it comes time for the next Columbus move, you can bet I'll be in touch.
