Introduction: I am a 1991 graduate of the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and have been in private practice for over twenty years. I represent individuals in a variety of areas including consumer bankruptcy matters (Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies); domestic relations matters (including divorces and dissolutions); and small business owners with a wide variety of transactional and litigation issues.

When I first started looking for an attorney I needed to find one who was experienced, could meet my needs, and would not charge me way more than I could afford, especially in light of COVID impacting my income significantly. I messaged a few and Martin was quick to respond and give me all the information about filing, what to expect, a timeline, and all the final costs with nothing hidden. He was very professional and easy to work with at all times. He kept me updated on everything and if something was needed he would let me know and advise me how to go about obtaining anything that might be missed or could be added and help alleviate any additional financial burden. Even after the case, he has touched base to follow up and to let me know the status and that now everything is 100% discharged. He is very good at his job and his costs are much lower than many other attorneys. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a good attorney to work with for bankruptcy.

I recently had to face two very difficult and painful events in my life: the breakup of a marriage and the financial chaos that was created as a result of it. I chose Martin Baba as my attorney because I knew he had the extensive experience and broad knowledge to safely guide me through these problems. Martin carefully listened to both my concerns and goals and then came up with a comprehensive strategy to achieve my objectives.
I couldn't be more pleased with the outcomes. I actually achieved results that far exceeded my expectations. I was able to stop a bank account garnishment and obtain a bankruptcy discharge without allowing the process to adversely affect my small business. Later on, Martin guided me through a difficult divorce and managed to obtain a spousal support award in my benefit. I never realistically expected that a husband could be granted alimony from a wife but Martin convinced the judge and I won.
Throughout the process, Martin kept me engaged in the process and motivated to get things done. I appreciated the fact that he could be compassionate when dealing with my personal and financial problems but also aggressive and passionate in court.
I consider Martin to be my personal attorney now and will continue to return for his sound guidance and strategic advice whenever I encounter any legal matter. I highly endorse him as an attorney and would recommend him without hesitation.
