Professional Chimney Sweep Services

Introduction: I've been providing professional chimney sweep services since 1987. I can offer the same quality services at a much more reasonable price. I could sweep and inspect your chimney, wood stove, pipes and connectors for the safe use of your fireplace or wood burner. If you burn one cord of wood per season, it's a good idea to have it cleaned and inspected once a year. If you would prefer an inspection because you are unsure of the condition of your wood-burning appliance, I will provide a complete safety inspection form with detailed condition of your woodburner. I will also indicate if you could still use the said appliance or not, or indicate what you need to fix before it's considered safe to use. For $45 you can have a certain appliance fixed. If it's a prefabricated metal fireplace, I charge $60. If you can refer your neighbors to have their appliances done as well, I will do each one for $50. This charge should be deductible from your rent. For brick or masonry fireplaces, the price is currently $70, while wood stoves, which require dismantling of pipes, exterior cleaning and reassembly, is currently $100. These prices are only good until the busy season starts this Fall. If you are in need of maintenance or would like to have a chimney cap installed, I would be happy to measure and install it for your flue. Thank you, Paul J. Maki
