FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings (American, Greek, Indian, Latino, Jewish), Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Fundraisers, Schools (Elementary, Middle, High), Columbus Bluejackets, Hollywood Casino, Honda Marysville, COSI, Ohio National Guard, and more!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Plan ahead. Most hire DJ's on average 6 months - 1 year in advance. If you've waited to the last minute to hire a DJ, all the good ones will most likely be booked. So why wait? Just like taxes, don't put it on the back burner waiting until the 11th hour when you don't need to. Call up a few DJ's so you have ample time to sit down and meet with them. Have a list of questions prepared (if you can't think of any you can find many of them online by typing "questions to ask a DJ" in your search engine).
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I'm a perfectionist. You want your wedding day to be perfect and so do I! We do more than just press Play. The amount of work that goes into preparing for each event would shock anyone. A reputable DJ will spend 10-20 hours in just pre-planning alone! That means he spends MORE time working behind the scenes than actually at your event! There's the phone calls back & forth, meeting with his clients, sometimes driving to the venue site or attending rehearsal, purchasing of music/equipment, maintenance, and so much more!
