I would highly recommend Sheik-Beatz to teach drum lessons. He recommended the shorter half hour session to gauge not only the attention span of my 4 year old, but his willingness and capability to learn. He also wrote down everything he taught my so. So that we could go home and review with him ourselves. I look forward to continuing lessons!
My granddaughter, has been taking drum lessons with Antoine. She is reserved and a little shy but Antoine immediately made her feel comfortable. She enjoys her lesson every week and always comes away with a positive feeling. Antoine is a natural teacher. He is up beat and gentle but still encourages my granddaughter to do her very best by challenging her each week. I can see constant progress. Antoine has a unique system to teach beginners. He makes it fun. I feel very lucky to have found him.
Roger Parish is an OUTSTANDING music instructor! He taught my siblings and I music lessons 30 years ago and now I have the pleasure of watching him teach my own children (piano and drums). He expects a lot out of his students and has a unique ability to develop their desire to meet and exceed his expectations! His praise is hard-earned, as such, it garners a genuine sense of pride and accomplishment when given. I highly, highly recommend Roger Parish to anyone looking for a highly skilled music instructor that is truly operating in his gift!
Excellent teacher for both drum and guitar. My kids love working with him.
My 11yo decided he wanted to learn how to play drums after watching a drum solo video. I called a few places during my search and got no response. Stu responded almost instantly. We went in for a trial session and my son was hooked! Drum lessons with Stu are the only "lessons" my son looks forward to. Stu has a great connection with kids and adults alike. My son is learning much faster than I ever expected.
Kenny gave guitar lessons to my sixth grade son, and it was a fantastic experience for him! It was convienient to have him come to our home, and he was always on-time and very professional. Kenny is an excellent musician and teacher, and my son's skills improved dramatically with his guidance. My son learned a great deal and always enjoye and looked forward to his lessons. I would definitely recommend him as a teacher.
This is a wonderful caring teacher. With excellent knowledge and affordable pricing. My son loves working with him. So glad I found him here!
My work may differ from others because I am a younger percussionist who has a much more modern approach to marching percussion than older instructors. This more modern approach is being adopted by Drum Corps across the nation. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing my passion for marching percussion with others/
I teach private hand drum (conga, djembe, bongos, timbales, etc.) as well as various hand percussion. Thank you for your interest. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more details.
My name is Srikar. I have been drumming in Lewis Center Ohio for 7 years and would now like the opportunity to teach your child the essentials on how to be a great drummer.
My name is Derek Reed. I'm 25. I have been playing for more than 15 years now and teaching for three years. I play set and hand drums. If you're interested, please contact me.
I am a drum set player/teacher with 15 years of experience. I provide drum set lessons for all ages at $20/half hour a week or however many times per week you would like me to teach. I specialize in rock drumming, but have been playing drums for 15 years, and also can teach fundamental rudiments and other various styles of drumming as well. Customers love the fact I can relate to what the person is trying to learn, and I have different approaches to teaching so that the person gets the most out of my lessons.
I give professional drum lessons to the beginner, intermediate, and expert. Whether it is getting started, learning new skills, or refining your craft, I can help you grow as a musician! No handbooks, no boring lectures; we have fun! All you need to bring is a pair of sticks and a good attitude.
My name is Derek Reed and I've been playing for 15 years now. I teach drums, both hands and set. I'm easy to work with and love taking on new challenges. If you're a band looking for a drummer, i have a modern alternative style. I also love playing jazz and have been getting into swing, most recently. I've got a pretty mean double bass and can definitely handle whatever's thrown my way. I also have my own 7 pieces set with Zildjian cymbals and don't mind lugging it around for practice. I love jamming with new people and look forward to meeting you. If you're interested leave me a message or email me.
I am now accepting 10 beginner to intermediate drum students. I offer private lessons in a fun, no-pressure environment at Scarred Hands Recording Studio. I will teach fundamentals, rudiments, and how to read drum music, beginning with a snare drum and then with a full drum kit. I offer 1-hour lessons, available on Monday and Tuesday afternoons and evenings and Wednesday afternoons at $20/lesson. I am a working drummer currently playing with the Christian Southern rock band, God's Dirt. I have received excellent ratings in solo and ensemble competitions. I have played local rock clubs with the bands BrokenSword, Trigger Zone, and Travisty and also done studio-session work.
I provide drumming lessons and services. I've been disabled for over 4 years now, and I can't play professionally anymore, but I may consider trying to give lessons. I've played for 45 years now (since I was 5), and didn't take my first lesson until the 6th grade, so I'm not big on reading sheet music. I am (pretty much) self-taught, and played in bands before I ever took a lesson. I have a custom-ordered Tama Starclassic Maple drum-kit $8,000.00 worth. For the little guys and girls, I would suggest getting them a small drumset. You can get one for about $300.00 (new), and that's cheaper than most snare drums (with a stand). Like I said, I would consider giving lessons, if the right opportunity comes along. I've played on the road when I was 18, and played from Ohio, to L.A. and back twice ( over 2 years), and have toured the mid-west circuit. I've also played down south for over twenty years, and have done many studio recordings. I mostly have played Rock & Roll, but I can play almost anything, but I don't care much for Country.
I am a sophomore in high school with over 5 years of drumming experience. I teach any kid or teenager who is new to drums and can teach him/her all the way to an intermediate level.
I want to be able to give the gift of music to everyone no matter what age they might be. It is never to late to learn on how to play the guitar. I am able to do what I love that is to have a guitar in my head and passing down what I have learned from the years to others young and old.
