Replacing electrical panel: he was thorough, professional, informative but not condescending in any way
I had to upgrade my electrical panel, ground a gas line and add a washer/dryer hook-ups to my home. Ken was knowledgeable and got us a good deal without breaking the bank. Highly recommend.
Jim is wonderful! He is personable and really knows his stuff. He helped me replace a foyer light in a house with a cathedral ceiling and replaced an electrical outlet. He was thorough and cleaned up after him and even helped me secure some paneling and a heat register for free. At the end, he even helped me carry a heavy item to my car. He is very reasonably priced and definitely makes sure his customers are happy. I definitely recommend him to others!
Jake was outstanding armed with a very nice personality and a vast knowledge of electrical wiring, Jake was on time and on task. He quickly found the problem which went from simple to complex. He then repaired it just as quickly with no extra charge. I would hire him again in a heartbeat .....well worth the money! He more then earned his tip. Thanks again Jake.
Mobsy Electric has done several jobs at my house including installation of ceiling fans, light fixtures and electrical outlet repairs. I now have light in all of the bedrooms that were built without fixtures. Their work and prices were excellent!
Ed did a flawless job installing a new 240 Volt outlet on a 20Amp breaker and a new 120 Volt Outlet on a 15 Amp breaker in my garage. I've hired a few big name electrical companies for jobs around the house over the past couple years and every single created more problems. I decided to try someone a different route by using Thumbtack and Ed made the first experience a great one. As long as I am in the Columbus area, I will be calling Ed for all electrical work.
I had some rotting wood trim around my front windows as a result of shoddy workmanship and inferior materials used by the builder. The wood rot compromised the seal of my window. Our initial thoughts and what Darrin planned on was a simply replacing the wood trim and remediation the seal around the widows. However, once Darrin started working, he discover the wood exterior was rotten on both sides of the Windows to the studs. Darrin showed me every discovery he made so I knew I was likely in store for more than I had originally planned. The result was removal of over 3/4 of the siding; repair of the wood exterior; wrapping the wood exterior in Tyvek as it was not previously wrapped: replacing the wood trim with quality cedar; putting the trim back and finally sealing the wood trim to ensure no future leaks. Not only was Darrin diligent and thorough in his work, but surprisingly affordable for the amount of work he completed. I would not recommend the builder (Rockford Homes) but have already recommended Darrin to a co-worker with similar issues from the same builder.
Very personable- work was excellent and he cleaned up when done. Def recommend hiring him! He upgraded our panel box to a 200 amp- and ran wiring for hot tub.
Did a great job on an electrical panel issue. Would hire again!
I have used Donny to update several electric panels and troubleshoot several electrical issues. He's very knowledgeable and professional and has always done what he says he will when he said he would do it. I would recommend him to anyone
There was actually FOUR separate jobs that I hired Chris for. All of the jobs were done. These were not small jobs. Jobs varied form pulling 220 lines to installing a a completely new Main Lug Electric Panel that had 20 switches on it (30 circuits). The knowledge was definitely there. I would hire him again for other electrical projects. He certainly knows how to make sure things are done right. Just remember, electrical hardware is very expensive. Do not expect electric components to be cheap. Chris makes sure you know the prices of the parts because we went to go buy the parts together (shopping trip at lowes). This way, you know that you did not get screwed on the parts and you are strictly paying for labor. Recommend especially for small home fixer-uppers--because you don't want to touch hot wires....trust me. They can explode in your face if not done correctly.
I hired Tom to fix an outside light that was shorting. Tom was very responsive, diagnosed the issue, and offered us alternatives to keep the costs down. Since Tom was able to fix the outside light more quickly than expected, he also fixed a few interior switches that had loose wires or needed replacements and bundled that into the initial quote. I plan to use Tom again for other electrical work.
They were very professional and quick replacing electrical panel. I would use them again definitely. They were knowledgeable and save me some bucks verses other electricians I called.
