Dan, came to our home, and gave us a quote, and that was the positive part! He said to go to Home Depot, because he would get a discount, we bought a large amount of paint, over 40 gallons, and didn't receive a discount through him!!!!!! I could've gone through Menards and could've gotten 11 percent, just by doing it myself, we asked him, if he could pick up some caulk, and he said yes, but he would charge it to us! They're $1.94 each, and he couldn't pay for that!!!!!!! Dan, makes you feel as if it's costing him money, by spending any money out of his pocket, which he could write off as a business expense! The crew was here for 9 days, and he didn't buy them lunch once, I bought them three lunches, drinks, and also paid for 3 dinners...…..The quality of work was decent, not spectacular though, we spent many nights touching things up, and cleaning up the floors, but Daood was very good, and I would hire him back, just not through Buckeye 1! Buckeye 1 is not by any means the most affordable, but they're not the most expensive either! The crew did show up everyday, and that's the best part, they're contractors show they do show up on their time, not always yours, but they're a great crew! Dan is not someone, I would work with again though, A very nice person, but not a salesman, or someone who has any idea about home improvements in a house, and he nickels and dimes you to death for anything...…...Sorry Dan, just being honest!!!!!!Feb 29, 2020VerifiedBuckeye 1, LLC's reply
"Brian, we would like to extend to you our most sincere apologies regarding the experience with the Interior Painting project. We are normally known for our exceptional service. I am sorry that we missed the mark. Our subcontractors normally buy their own lunch, as they are very well paid to do so. So I am sorry that you felt obligated. to buy food, but this is the first I had heard of it. But, thank you for that, I am sure they appreciated it. We will be happy to come back to do additional cleaning. We would love to be able to earn your trust back. We hope that we will have the opportunity to work with you on future projects. Thanks for your feedback."

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our focus is on QUALITY. We never cut corners, even when it's more expensive. Some of my competitors are cheaper, but I will take the time to make sure you're 100% happy.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After giving you a quote, if I have enough information, I will still need to see the project and finalize the quote. Then we will remeasure the project if needed, and put a materials list together. Most all of our quotes are labor only. Therefore, we will order the materials with your approval, you would pay for the materials, then the materials will be delivered to the site. We would be able to put the material list together for the construction, you would be responsible for any paint colors or personal preference items like bathroom items you wanted to be installed.
