Introduction: I have more experience than most people I know who teach lessons. Also, playing both guitar and drums gives me a unique ability to tailor what I play and what I teach to fit with a full band better. When I teach drum lessons, I bring my guitar, which allows me to demonstrate techniques in more of an actual band setting. It also makes it much more fun for the students and allows me to teach specific songs and play them with my students. Remembering how much i enjoyed learning the techniques I teach.

Kenny gave guitar lessons to my sixth grade son, and it was a fantastic experience for him! It was convienient to have him come to our home, and he was always on-time and very professional. Kenny is an excellent musician and teacher, and my son's skills improved dramatically with his guidance. My son learned a great deal and always enjoye and looked forward to his lessons. I would definitely recommend him as a teacher.

Kenny is an extremely intelligent individual and has a deep understanding of all things music related. His dedication to his craft is obvious when you ask him any questions about his experience (and he has PLENTY of experience!) He is focused on the fine details that are typically overlooked by other instructors, and as a result he can get you to avoid making mistakes most people don't even know they make.

Great all-around guy, exactly what I Iook for in an instructor. He helped me learn guitar better. I'm more of an intermediate as far as playability goes and I went to him on a recommendation. I feel like some teachers are a lesson ahead of me but this guy, always knows exactly what he's talking about AND finds a way to make you understand, a major plus. Probably the best thing he taught me was how to utilize my finger tips to get any sound out of the guitar. Most just suggest changing your amp settings till your there, he taught me it starts at the first place you make the sound.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am constantly playing and sitting in with new bands and people and learning new techniques and styles. I think for the best musicians, learning music is a process that never ends.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of my client are hiring me to teach children between the ages of about 7 - 16. But I have taught both younger and older.
