I had a groupon for 4 hrs of work from van handy. He called off once and told me due to the amount of worked generated by the group[on, he would be sending 3 men for 2 hrs instead of 1 for 4 hrs. Not really the same but ok.He showed up with his wife. When asked where the second man was he said it was his wife. When asked what she would do, he said she would get tools from his truck, not do any work. (truck would be about 30' away) When asked what would happen if he didn't get the job done in 2 hrs he said it would be $69/hr extra. There were several things that needed attention and I could have done all of them in 4 hrs. He never intended to bring 2 actual workers and seemed ready to try and upcharge for the work. He was sent on his way and I got a refund from groupon. BAD experience.

This guy is a con. He first con Groupon to get publicity, then 3 days before scheduled work told me to cancel Groupon deal to dihonor it, as his secretary implied they want to avoid Groupon's cut of commission!!!
Came to my house, put up all kinds of excuses to con my wife to avoid replacing ceiling drywall (guessed that was too difficult/heavy for them). Paid for 1 hour x 2 men job, turned out to be only 20 minutes job. At the end of the day, my ceiling still has 3 exact same issues after he said he got it "fixed": 1) Water damage mark 2) Drywall Sagging 3) Holes on it.
His only solution to all these problems -- put over another thin layer of mud to partially cover water damage mark on ceiling!!
Smart con men. And on top of it, their website VanHandy.com is now obsolete no longer functioning. And NO central ohio BBB rating. He sure started out as a con man with intention to cheat Groupon and all customers. Stay away from this con.

I would certainly not recommend this guy. Groupon deal looks great, but service is terrible. Bad experience.

I loved the work Tim did on my kitchen and my bathroom. Originally, he was supposed to put new tile in my bathroom, which he did exceptionally quick and it looked beautiful. He is very social and is great at multi-tasking. After he finished my bathroom, I asked if he cold possibly do little things in my kitchen. He charged a fairly low price of $99 for 4 hours. Since then he's the handyman I call to do the little things around my house and I would recommend him to anyone.

The owner Tim came to my house to have my living room and kitchen painted. They did not paint behind my appliances and after I had played him I noticed my laptop computer was missing. I have tryed to contact him several times as he refuses to return my call. I would not recommend this guy to my worst enemy.
